The participants who were chosen using a convenience sampling method filled the-Short Form of Young\u0026amp;#39;s Internet Addiction Test‖ (YIAT-SF), Perceived Freedom in Leisure Scale (PFLS),-Leisure Boredom Scale (LBS), and-Sensation Seeking Scale‖ (SSS). T-test, MANOVA, ANOVA and correlation analysis were used to analyze the data. T-test results indicated there were no significant differences in the mean scores of-YIAT-SF‖ with respect to gender (p\u0026amp;gt; 0.05). However, analysis revealed significant differences in the mean scores of-YIAT-SF‖ with regard to not regularly physical activity participation. There were significant differences in the mean scores of-PFLS‖ in favor of men participants and regularly physical activity participants (p\u0026amp;lt;0.05). Gender and regularly physical activity participation were significant of \u0026amp;quot;LBS‖ (p\u0026amp;lt;0.01) in favor of women participants (p\u0026amp;lt;0.05). Similarly, gender were significant of-SSS‖ (p\u0026amp;lt;0.01) on the all sub-dimensions in favor of men participants (p\u0026amp;lt;0.05). The study group consists of a total of 192 participants, 84 (43.8%) and male 108 (56.2%), who study at the School of Physical Education and Sports of Siirt University and answer yes to the question of whether it disrupts your internet health. As the data collection tool in the study, &quot;Leisure Facilitators Scale&quot; developed by Kim et al. (2011) and whose validity and reliability in Turkish was developed by Gürbüz et al. (2015) and the &quot;Internet Addiction Scale&quot; developed by Balta and Horzum (2008) were used. Number, percentage, average and standard deviation were used as descriptive statistical methods in the evaluation of the data. The research model was tested with structural equation analysis. Relationships between leisure facilitators and internet addiction were tested by the structural model analysis. Structural Equation Modeling is an analysis method that allows the variables to be analyzed simultaneously and together with latent variables (Wan, 2002). Schematic model and regression coefficients are given below. As a result of the research, the goodness of fit values of the structural model between leisure facilitators and internet addiction are highly acceptable. The aim of the present study was to examine the relationships between Smartphone use, Internet addiction and level of interest of users by assessing differences in frequency of Smartphone use in three different situations (boredom, passive activity and active activity) among male and female students. Procedure: The sample consisted of 40 participants-20 women and 20 men, University students age range 21-29, who were recruited by convenience sampling. The experiment was conducted in three conditions: state of boredom, passive activity and active activity in counterbalanced order. Before the experiment participants completed Internet addiction, Visual Analog Scales (VAS) and Smartphone Addiction Scale (SAS) questionnaires. After each experimental condition participants completed the VAS questionnaire. Results: There was a correlation between the frequency of Smartphone use and Internet addiction. High frequency of Internet use rather than type of activity or gender predicted Smartphone addiction. Conclusions: The use of the Smartphone may be associated with Internet addiction and is not influenced by any interest or involvement in daily activities. This study&#39;s sample group included 458 students (262 girls and 196 boys) studying at Anatolian High Schools located in the Konak district of Izmir city. Participants filled out self-evaluation documents incorporating the Scale for Internet Use by Adolescents, the Zuckerman Sensation-Seeking Scale, and personal data forms. Hierarchical regression was used for data analysis, and the findings revealed that sensation seeking and gender accounted for 47% of the variance related to Internet addiction. Examination of these results indicated that the most powerful variable leading to problematic In-ternet use was the pursuit of new experience under the sub-dimension of thrill seeking, followed successively by boredom susceptibility, gender, thrill and adventure seeking, and disinhibition. Thus, more effective Internet addiction treatment programs through sports are required. This study tried to identify the relationship among sports participation, self-control, and Internet addiction among Korean adolescents. In total, 345 students (aged 15e18 years) from two middle schools and two high schools in South Korea were analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). SEM indicated a significant effect of sports participation on Internet addiction mediated by self-control. The results suggest the effectiveness of and need for sport and physical activity in Internet addiction treatment programs and for other addictions as well. Moreover, sports participation has a wider variety of psychological and physical benefits unlike intervention strategies or pharmacological treatments. In light of the rising concern about problematic internet use, this study aimed to understand the relationship between problematic internet use, leisure boredom, and sensation-seeking among college students who use YouTube. The objective was to explore the interrelationships between these variables and examine their association with significant sociodemographic factors. A sample of 201 students aged 18 to 25 who used YouTube was selected using a snowball sampling approach for this exploratory correlational research. Data were collected using the problematic internet use Test, Leisure Boredom Scale, and Brief Sensation Seeking Scale. Results indicated that 0.5% of the students had severe internet dependence, and 10.9% had a moderate level of addiction. Males scored higher than females in leisure boredom, while no significant gender differences were found in problematic internet use and sensation seeking. Problematic internet use was positively correlated with both leisure boredom and sensation seeking. However, leisure boredom did not correlate with sensation seeking. The research method was correlation and the statistical population consisted of female students of the second and third grade secondary schools who were studying in the public schools in district 8 of Tehran during the school year 2015-2016. 240 persons were selected as a sample by multi-stage randomized sampling. Beck Depression (2000), Zuckerman Sensation-seeking (1978), and Young&#39;s Internet Addiction questionnaires (1998) were implemented. The results of the data analysis with Pierson correlation method and multivariate hierachical regression indicated that there is a positive and significant correlation between depression and components of sensation-seeking with Internet addiction (p &lt;0.01). Depression can predict 29.1% and components of sensation-seeking predict 3.9% of addiction in the sample group by and (and both variants of depression and components of sensation-seeking in total of 33%). In the study, correlational survey research model was used and smartphone addiction and leisure satisfaction of university students were examined with a comparative approach. The population of this study consists of 855 university students studying at two large universities. Smartphone Addiction and Leisure Satisfaction Scales were used to collect research data. Research findings show that leisure satisfaction and smartphone addiction among university students are high. Another finding of the research is that students who participate in active sports, social, artistic and cultural activities have low smartphone addiction.
