This research is then aimed at dealing the relationship between transformational leadership style and academicians' organizational commitment (Affective, Continuance and Normative commitment) in the case of Debre Berhan University during the year of 2015. A total of 220 respondents were selected using stratified probability sampling technique from each colleges found in the university. The researchers used two separate instruments Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (only transformational leadership items) and Organizational Commitment Questionnaire to measure leadership styles and employees' organizational commitment respectively. Finally, the responses of the respondents were analyzed using SPSS (version 20.0). The findings of the study revealed that transformational leadership style is significantly and positively related to three dimensions of organizational commitment. And also it has been proved that transformational leadership style has a significant impact on affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment. Pegadaian (Persero) Regional Office VIII Jakarta 1 Bogor Area. This research is quantitative research. The sample used in the study was 205 respondents. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique and Amos 22 software are both used in the investigation. The findings show that trans-formational leadership has a beneficial effect on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, job satisfac-tion, and employee performance. It was discovered, however, that neither transformational leadership nor organizational commitment had any effect on employee performance as measured by job satisfaction or organizational how much influence the transformational leadership style has on an organizational commitment to student organizations, which in this study is a psychology student organization at Sunan Gunung Djati UIN Bandung, namely: Psychorescue. The method used in this study is quantitative with simple linear regression analysis with 40 subjects of Psychorescue members. The scale of transformational leadership style used is based on the theory of Bass and Avolio, while the organizational commitment used is based on the theory of J.P Meyer & J.J. Allen, both of which were made by researchers. The results showed that transformational leadership style had a significant effect of 67% on an organizational commitment to members of Psychorescue. The hypothesis testing obtained results of t-count of 8.769 while ttable with a significance level of 5% is df = N-2, then df = 40-2 = 38 which is equal to 2,024. So that t count is 8.769&gt; t-table which is 2.024. Effective leadership is one of the main sources of nurturing organizational commitment. Selecting most appropriate leadership style in an organization is a biggest challenge for the management. The main purpose of this research is to create awareness about transactional and transformational leadership styles and to study their impact on employee commitment in private sector universities of Karachi.Understanding this relationship between leadership styles and organizational commitment can help management to choose an appropriate leadership style in different situations to increase employee commitment towards their organization, that will indirectly higher the profit of the organization. This research is an exploratory research andprimary datahas been conducted with 30 respondents. For the data analyses the correlation analysiswas applied.
