Çalışmada, genel tarama modellerinden ilişkisel tarama ve nedensel karşılaştırma modeli kullanılırken, araştırmanın örneklem grubunu geçmişte Spor İstanbul tesislerinde spor yapan 277 katılımcı oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama araçlarından; Sporcuların Yeni Tip Koronavirüse Yakalanma Kaygısı Ölçeği ve Serbest Zamanda Sıkılma Algısı Ölçeği kullanılarak katılımcıların görüşleri kaydedilerek, spss 24.0 programıyla analize tabi tutulmuştur. Çalışmada, genel tarama modellerinden ilişkisel tarama ve nedensel karşılaştırma modeli kullanılırken, araştırmanın örneklem grubunu geçmişte Spor İstanbul tesislerinde spor yapan 277 katılımcı oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama araçlarından; Sporcuların Yeni Tip Koronavirüse Yakalanma Kaygısı Ölçeği ve Serbest Zamanda Sıkılma Algısı Ölçeği kullanılarak katılımcıların görüşleri kaydedilerek, spss 24.0 programıyla analize tabi tutulmuştur. Katılımcılar arasında tercih edilen branş değişkenine göre COVID-19'a yakalanma kaygı düzeyleri arasında anlamlı farklılık bulunurken, en çok yüzme branşını tercih edenlerin bu kaygıyı taşıdıkları, katılımcıların yaş, cinsiyet, gelir durumları ile COVİD-19 kaygısı arasında ise anlamlı düzeyde farklılıklar bulunmadığı saptanmıştır. Bu amaçla Pelletier ve ark., (1991) tarafından geliştirilen, ilk kez Mutlu (2008) tarafından daha sonra Güngörmüş (2012) tarafından geçerlik güvenirlik çalışması yapılarak Türkçe’ye uyarlanan “Serbest Zaman Motivasyon Ölçeği” veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada, "Tanımlayıcı (Betimsel) ve İlişkisel tarama modeli" kullanılmıştır. Araştırma grubu 124 erkek 102 kadın olmak üzere toplamda 226 sporcudan oluşmaktadır. Katılımcıların seçiminde basit tesadüfi örnekleme yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan kişisel bilgi formu, Cicioğlu ve İlhan (2020) tarafından geliştirilen "Sporcuların Yeni Tip Koronavirüse (Covid-19) Yakalanma Kaygısı Ölçeği-SYTKYKÖ" ve Schaufeli, Bakker (2004) tarafından geliştirilen, Türk kültürüne uyarlanması Sırgancı, Ilgar ve Cihan (2019) tarafından yapılan "Spora Bağlılık Ölçeği-SBÖ" kullanılmıştır. Verilen analizinde SPSS 26.0 paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Katılımcılardan elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizlerinde bağımsız örneklem T-Testi, ANOVA ve Pearson Korelason testleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini amaçlı örneklem metoduyla seçilen, rekreasyonel amaçlı sportif faaliyetlere katılan, en az 3 ay boyunca düzenli fiziksel etkinliklere katılan, gönüllü 109 kadın 137 erkek (Ortyaş =26.28±8.13) oluşturmaktadır. Veriler; "Bilgi Formu", "Serbest Zaman Doyum Ölçeği (SZDÖ) ve "Serbest Zamanda Algılanan Özgürlük Ölçeği" (SZAÖ) ve "Sosyal Görünüş Kaygısı Ölçeği" (SGKÖ) aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, SZAÖ ile SZDÖ pozitif anlamlı ilişkili olduğu görülmüştür (p<.01). Ücretli ve ücretsiz rekreasyonel fiziksel faaliyetlere katılanların sosyal görünüş kaygı SGKÖ puanları incelenmiş, ücretli rekreasyonel fiziksel faaliyetlere katılanların SGKÖ puanlarının anlamlı bir şekilde yüksek olduğu görüşmüştür (p<0.05). Ücretli ve ücretsiz rekreasyonel fiziksel faaliyetlere katılanların SZDÖ düzeyleri arasında ise eğitimsel alt boyutta ve rahatlama alt boyutunda ücretli hizmetlere katılanların ortalama puanları anlamlı bir şekilde farklı olduğu görülmüştür (p<0.05). Katılınan zaman dilimleri açısından incelendiğinde SGK puanları yüksek bireylerin etkinliklere katıldıkları saatlerin tenha saatler olduğu görülmektedir (p<0.05). Bu noktada bireylerin rekreasyonel amaçlı oryantiring branşına katılımları doğrultusunda deneyim, beceri geliştirmeleri söz konusudur ve bu amaçla kişisel bir çaba harcanmaktadır. Ciddi boş zaman olgusunu ortaya koyan bu yaklaşımla bu araştırmada, oryantiring sporcularının ciddi boş zaman perspektiflerinin ne olduğu, bu perspektifi belirli değişkenlerin değiştirip değiştirmediği sorularına açıklık getirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada Ankara ilinde bir ciddi boş zaman aktivitesi olarak oryantiring sporu ile ilgilenen 128'i kadın 121'i erkek 249 öğrenci çalışma grubunu oluştururken, araştırmanın verileri Gould ve arkadaşları (2008) tarafından geliştirilen, Akgül ve arkadaşları (2016) tarafından Türkçe'ye uyarlanan Ciddi Boş Zaman Envanteri (Serious Leisure Inventory and Measure / SLIM) ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin normal dağılım göstermediği Skewness-Kurtosis testleriyle ortaya koyulmuş, katılımcıların demografik verilerine yönelik dağılımları betimleyici istatistikler ile gösterilmiştir. İkili gruplar için MannWhitney-U testinden, üç ve üzeri gruplar için Kruskall-Wallis testinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara bakıldığında katılımcıların yüksek bir ciddi boş zaman puanı sergiledikleri, en yüksek alt boyut puanını azim, en düşük alt boyut puanını ise uğraşla özdeşim alt boyutunda elde ettikleri görülmüştür.Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara bakıldığında katılımcıların oryantiring branşıyla ilişkilerinin ciddi boş zaman kavramıyla iç içe olduğu, bu ilişkiyi cinsiyet, algılanan refah, yaşanılan bölge, oryantiring yapma süresi ve son zamanlarda yarışmalara katılma durumunun değiştirdiği ifade edilebilir. The population of the study consisted of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Faculty of Sport Sciences students. The sample consisted of 261 students (Physical Education and Sports Teaching, Coaching Education, Sports Management and Recreation), 102 of whom were female and 159 of whom were male, selected from all departments by random sampling method. As data collection tools in the study, personal information form prepared by the researchers (age, gender, department, grade, monthly personal income and employment status), "Leisure Time Interest Scale" developed by Kyle et al. (2007) to determine students' leisure time interest levels and "Life Satisfaction Scale" developed by Diener et al. (1985) to determine students' life satisfaction levels were used. To determine the demographic characteristics of the data, frequency and percentage analysis, kurtosis and skewness analyses to determine whether the scale scores are normally distributed, t-test and ANOVA tests to determine the relationship between the independent variable of the study, leisure time interest, and the dependent variable, life satisfaction, and Pearson correlation test to determine the relationship between the two variables.
