academic staff towards utilization of e-learning in teaching and learning in the universities, Rivers State E-learning has become a globalised issue that every organization and individual keeps on clamoring for it and to be recognized in its utilization in both leaning and administrative environment. Thus, in this study three research questions and three hypotheses were drawn. The population of the study consisted of all academic in three universities in Rivers State. The sample size was 706.Sampling technique used on random sampling technique in which 30% of the total population was selected for the study. A self-made instrument, attitude of academic staff to e-learning questionnaire (AASEQ) was developed for the study. The respondents were requested to answer: very high extent (VHE), high extent (H) low extent (LE) and very low extent (VLE) Thus, 706 copies of the questionnaires were distributed and retrieved 524(74%) for the analysis of the research questions and hypotheses. The results indicated that academic staff utilization of e-learning in teaching and learning is still low. This is because most of the lecturers preferred conservative mode of chalkboard. Thus it is recommended that the lecturers should be mandated to use projector, e-mail and other technological apparatus as a source of their assignments, seminars, tests and This phenomenon is a new issue in Iran. This research aimed to investigate students&#39; and faculty members&#39; attitude towards electronic learning in Birjand University of Medical Sciences. This is a descriptive-surveying study. Research population includes students and faculty members of Birjand University of Medical Sciences. Data were collected from 313 students and 86 faculty member through a researcher-made questionnaire. Reliability of this questionnaire was obtained 0.91 using alpha Cronbach coefficient. Field study was used to collect the data and the collected data were analysed by SPSS software. Both students and faculty members showed positive attitude towards e-learning. However, faculty members showed more positive view about e-learning (p &lt; 0.000). Descriptive survey design was adopted for the study, which comprised 168 subjects (44 lecturers and 124 students). Two research questions were posed by the researchers to guide the study. The study used questionnaires to elicit information from respondents. Mean and standard deviation were descriptive statistical tools used to answer the research questions. The findings of the study revealed, amongst others, that many universities in Nigeria lacked digital facilities for quality e-teaching and learning and, again, university lecturers and students required core digital skills for effective e-learning. The objective of the study was to assess the awareness and perceptions of lecturers in using e-learning tools for instructional delivery in the University of Cape Coast. Specifically, the study sought to investigate the state of the awareness and perceptions of lecturers in incorporating e-learning tools in their lesson preparation and delivery. The target population was lecturers of UCC and responses were obtained from 128 lecturers who were randomly sampled for the study. The study revealed among other things that, many lecturers fail to use e-learning tools because they are not proficient in using them. Nevertheless, they are ready or willing to participate in programmes to equip them with the requisite skills that will make them proficient in using the e- learning tools. The study recommends among other things that the Computer Centre of the University should educate the lecturers on e-learning and give them the necessary training that will equip them in using the e-learning platform (Moodle) that the university had installed since 2007.
