class="chap"><A name="2"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-1.htm#aramaic"><b>1</b></a></span>There is therefore no condemnation to those in Yeshua The Messiah who do not walk in the flesh. <A name="3"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-2.htm#aramaic"><b>2</b></a></span>For The Law of The Spirit of Life which is in Yeshua The Messiah has freed you from the law of sin and of death. <A name="4"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-3.htm#aramaic"><b>3</b></a></span>For because The Written Law was weak through the sickliness of the flesh, God sent his Son in the form of sinful flesh, because of sin, to condemn sin in his flesh, <A name="5"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-4.htm#aramaic"><b>4</b></a></span>That the righteousness of The Written Law would be fulfilled in us, that we would not walk in the flesh but in The Spirit. <A name="6"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-5.htm#aramaic"><b>5</b></a></span>Those who are in the flesh are governed by the flesh, and those who are of The Spirit are governed by The Spirit. <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-6.htm#aramaic"><b>6</b></a></span>For the mind of the flesh is death, and the mind of The Spirit is life and peace, <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-7.htm#aramaic"><b>7</b></a></span>Because the mind of the flesh is hatred toward God, for it is not subject to the law of God because it cannot be. <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-8.htm#aramaic"><b>8</b></a></span>And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.<p> <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-9.htm#aramaic"><b>9</b></a></span>But you are not in the flesh, but in The Spirit, if truly The Spirit of God dwells within you, but if a man does not have The Spirit of The Messiah in him, this one does not belong to Him. <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-10.htm#aramaic"><b>10</b></a></span>But if The Messiah is in you, the body is dead for the cause of sin, but The Spirit is alive for the cause of righteousness. <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-11.htm#aramaic"><b>11</b></a></span>And if The Spirit of him who raised our Lord Yeshua The Messiah from among the dead dwells within you, he who raised Yeshua The Messiah from among the dead also will give life to your dying bodies, because of his Spirit who dwells within you.<p> <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-12.htm#aramaic"><b>12</b></a></span>Now my brethren, we are indebted, not to the flesh that we should walk in the flesh, <A name="14"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-13.htm#aramaic"><b>13</b></a></span>For if you are living in the flesh, you are going to die, and if you are putting to death the practices of the body, you are living. <A name="15"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-14.htm#aramaic"><b>14</b></a></span>For those who are led by The Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-15.htm#aramaic"><b>15</b></a></span>For you have not received The Spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received The Spirit of the adoption of children by whom we cry, &#8220;Father, our Father.&#8221; <A name="17"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-16.htm#aramaic"><b>16</b></a></span>And that Spirit testifies to our spirit that we are sons of God; <A name="18"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-17.htm#aramaic"><b>17</b></a></span>And if sons, then also heirs; heirs of God and co-heirs with Yeshua The Messiah, for if we suffer with him, we shall also be glorified with him.<p> <A name="19"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-18.htm#aramaic"><b>18</b></a></span>For I give counsel that the sufferings of this time are not comparable to the glory which is going to be revealed in us. <A name="20"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-19.htm#aramaic"><b>19</b></a></span>For the whole creation hopes for and expects the revelation of the sons of God. <A name="21"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-20.htm#aramaic"><b>20</b></a></span>For the creation has been subjected to futility, not by its choice, but because of him who subjected it upon hope. <A name="22"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-21.htm#aramaic"><b>21</b></a></span>For the creation shall also be freed from the bondage of destruction into the liberty of the glory of the sons of God. <A name="23"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-22.htm#aramaic"><b>22</b></a></span>For we know that all created things groan and are in labor until today. <A name="24"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-23.htm#aramaic"><b>23</b></a></span>And not only so, but we also who have in us the first fruits of The Spirit; we groan in ourselves and we look for the adoption of sons and the redemption of our bodies, <A name="25"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-24.htm#aramaic"><b>24</b></a></span>Because we live in that hope; but hope that is seen is not hope, for if we see hope, why do we look for it? <A name="26"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-25.htm#aramaic"><b>25</b></a></span>But if we hope for what is not seen, we wait patiently for it.<p> <A name="27"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-26.htm#aramaic"><b>26</b></a></span>In this way also The Spirit helps our weakness. We do not know what we should pray for, whenever it is necessary, but that Spirit prays in our place with groaning which is unspoken. <A name="28"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-27.htm#aramaic"><b>27</b></a></span>But he who searches the hearts knows what the mind of The Spirit is, for he is praying according to the will of God in the place of the Saints.<p> <A name="29"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-28.htm#aramaic"><b>28</b></a></span>But we know that he helps those who love God in everything for good, those whom he preordained to be called. <A name="30"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-29.htm#aramaic"><b>29</b></a></span>And those whom he foreknew, he also fashioned in the likeness of the image of his Son, that he would be The Firstborn of many brethren. <A name="31"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-30.htm#aramaic"><b>30</b></a></span>And those whom he pre-fashioned, he called, and those whom he called, he made righteous, and those whom he made righteous, he glorified.<p> <A name="32"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-31.htm#aramaic"><b>31</b></a></span>What therefore shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? <A name="33"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-32.htm#aramaic"><b>32</b></a></span>And if he did not show pity upon his Son, but he handed him over for the sake of us all, how shall he not give us everything with him? <A name="34"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-33.htm#aramaic"><b>33</b></a></span>Who shall accuse The Elect of God? God is He Who declares righteous. <A name="35"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/romans/8-34.htm#aramaic"><b>34</b></a></span>Who is condemning?
