Les actes de la journée d’études seront publiés.</p> </div> </div> <div id="annonce"> <p class="intitule">Annonce</p> <div id="annonce-678357-fr" class="tabContent" lang="fr" xml:lang="fr"> <h1>Présentation</h1> <p>L’École des arts joailliers, avec le soutien de Van Cleef & Arpels, organise sa première journée d’études, le mardi 1er octobre 2019. Elle rassemblera de jeunes chercheurs qui travaillent sur la joaillerie, selon une approche historique. Appelée à devenir un rendez-vous annuel, cette première édition valorise le dynamisme de la recherche en master et en doctorat autour des sujets joailliers. Les actes de la journée d’études seront publiés.</p> <p>Fondée en 2012 avec le soutien de Van Cleef & Arpels, L’École des Arts Joailliers a pour mission de diffuser la culture joaillière auprès du public le plus large.</p> <p>C’est une école d’initiation, ouverte à tous, sans prérequis. L’École s’adresse au néophyte comme à l’amateur éclairé, au collectionneur de bijoux comme au simple curieux. Depuis sa création, L’École a déjà accueilli plus de trente mille élèves, provenant d’une quarantaine de pays, âgés de 18 ans à 83 ans.</p> <p>L’École propose des cours, dans trois grands domaines (l’histoire de l’art du bijou, le monde des pierres et les savoir-faire), elle propose également des conférences, publie des livres et des catalogues et organise régulièrement des expositions, à Paris et à l’étranger, sur des sujets chaque fois très différents et selon une approche renouvelée. L’exposition « Lacloche joailliers (1892-1967) » met en lumière une Maison méconnue, à l’origine de créations raffinées, élégantes et inventives qui ont marqué leur époque.</p> <p>L’École est située à Paris dans hôtel particulier construit au début du XVIIIe siècle par l’architecte Jacques V Gabriel, l’hôtel de Ségur, à deux pas de la place Vendôme, c&oelig;ur historique de la joaillerie française depuis plus d’un siècle. Une deuxième École a ouvert à l’automne 2019 à Hongkong, dans le quartier de Western Kowloon, au c&oelig;ur du design district. Face à la baie de Hongkong, au sein de K11 Musea, L’École se déploie dans un espace de lumière conçu et aménagé par l’architecte japonais Sou Fujimoto.</p> <p>Une vingtaine de cours sont dispensés chaque mois en français, en anglais ou en chinois par une cinquantaine de professeurs, historiens de l’art, gemmologues, joailliers et artisans d’art. Les cours durent quatre heures, sont enseignés chacun par deux professeurs et rassemblent de six à douze élèves maximum, afin d’offrir des conditions d’apprentissage idéales. Il s’agit aussi de favoriser la convivialité, l’échange et le partage. Le programme est à la carte et chaque élève est libre de choisir un ou plusieurs cours, selon ses envies et sa curiosité.</p> <p>Les cours sont fondés sur la pratique. Les élèves expérimentent les gestes, les savoir-faire et les outils, guidés par leurs professeurs. En histoire de l’art, ils ont le privilège d’admirer des bijoux anciens issus des collections de L’École et dans les cours sur les gemmes, d’observer des pierres à l’aide des instruments du gemmologue.</p> <p>Les cours constituent le c&oelig;ur de L’École, qui propose cependant d’autres activités : ateliers créatifs pour les enfants et les adolescents, rencontres avec des auteurs ou avec des commissaires d’exposition.</p> <p>Enfin, dès son origine, L’École s’est ouverte à l’international. L’École se déplace à l’étranger en moyenne deux fois par an, en Amérique, en Asie et au Moyen Orient, à l’occasion de sessions nomades, qui durent de deux à trois semaines.
