כתורת חיים. העשייה הקהילתית היא החיים של התנועה הרפורמית בישראל ובעולם. כ 50 קהילות פעולות ברחבי הארץ ומהוות בית עבור אנשים ומשפחות החיים את היהדות הרפורמית על בסיס יומי ושבועי. הבית הזה מארח ציבור רחב הרבה יותר הנכנס בשעריו בחגים ובזמני מעבר במעגל חייו.</p> <p>קהילות בתנועה הרפורמית בישראל פועלות ב 3 צירי פעולה עיקריים: " על תורה, על עבודה ועל גמילות חסדים" פעילות בשלושת הצירים הללו מייצרות את כוחן של הקהילות שלנו, ומהם נגזרות דרכי הפעולה המאפשרות להן לפעול.</p> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">על תורה</h2> <p>היהדות וערכיה הם הליבה שלנו וכוללים את ארון הספרים היהודי, ארון הספרים הישראלי והעולם הליטורגי.</p> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">על עבודה</h2> <p>הביטוי בפועל של העולם היהודי הרוחני שבא לידי ביטוי ב:תפילה, טקסי מעגל החיים (בר/בת מצווה חתונות וכו') ופעילות סביב לוח השנה העברי . היהדות היא גם בסיס להיבטים תרבותיים השלובים בתוך העשייה של הקהילות שלנו ובכך מעשירים גם עולמות התוכן והתרבות הישראלים.</p> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">על גמילות חסדים</h2> <p>תיקון עולם – משמעותה של גמילות חסדים כוללת כל סוג של עזרה וסיוע, בגוף, ממון ונפש . היהדות מתייחסת במספר מצוות לענין זה כמו: ביקור חולים, הכנסת כלה, לוויה וקבורת המת, ניחום אבלים, עשיית שלום בין אנשים מסוכסכים, לשמח אנשים עצובים, ועוד. בקרב הקהילות שלנו אנו מרחיבים את המושג ומתייחסים לתיקון עולם ועוסקים גם בהיבטים של שוויון ושילוב.<br>בקהילות הרפורמיות בישראל תמצאו שילוב של מסורת וחידוש, תרבות, תיקון עולם כאשר היהדות מהווה את
