alt="저출산에도 럭셔리 아동복은 불티…큰손 떠오른 'MZ 부모'"> </div> </figure> 24일 유로모니터에 따르면 올해 국내 유아동복 시장 규모는 2조5390억원으로 추정된다. 2020년(1조8410억원)에 비해 38% 늘었다. 홍희정 유로모니터 뷰티패션 수석연구원은 “내의와 기본 상하복은 SPA(제조·직매형 의류)나 국내 제조 가성비 제품 위주, 외출복은 고가 브랜드 위주로 소비된다”고 설명했다.<br /><br />이 시장에서 두각을 나타내는 브랜드는 뉴발란스다. 이랜드월드가 2013년 뉴발란스 키즈를 새롭게 내놨을 때만 해도 관련 매출은 200억원에 불과했다. 올해 매출 예상치는 2200억원을 웃돈다. 10년여 만에 10배나 증가했다. 뉴발란스는 성인 상품을 아이들에 맞게 재해석해 출시, 인기를 끌었다. 지난 1월 내놓은 러닝화 ‘1906’이 대표적이다. 이 제품은 한 달 만에 5000켤레가 팔렸다. 운동복, 패딩 등도 인기를 끌자 2022년 스타필드 하남을 시작으로 스타필드 고양, 스타필드 수원에 뉴발란스 키즈 단독 매장을 냈다.<br /><br />더네이쳐홀딩스의 내셔널지오그래픽도 지난해 키즈 라인의 매출 증가율이 12%에 달했다. 같은 기간 성인 라인 매출이 2% 감소한 것과 상황이 전혀 달랐다. 올해도 키즈 라인은 상반기까지 10% 넘는 매출 증가율을 보여 성장세를 이어가고 있다.<br /><br />유통사들도 유아동복 판매에 주력하고 있다. e커머스 무신사와 롯데온은 2022년 키즈 전문관을 열며 유아동복 시장에 뛰어들었다. 무신사가 키즈 전문관을 선보일 당시 100여 개이던 입점 브랜드는 올해 10월 말 기준 약 450개로 늘었다. 롯데온의 키즈 전문관 ‘온앤더키즈’의 구매자 수는 연평균 30%씩 증가하고 있다.<br /><br />백화점은 프리미엄 아동 라인을 확대하고 있다. 현대백화점은 올해 들어 판교점에 몽클레르앙팡, 베이비디올을 새롭게 들였다. 롯데백화점은 타임빌라스 수원에 ‘킨더 유니버스’라는 키즈 브랜드관을 신설했다. 신세계백화점도 올해 강남점에 베이비디올 기프트 등을 열었다. 백화점 내 아동 명품 판매가 크게 뛰었기 때문이다. 현대백화점의 올해(1~10월) 아동 명품 매출은 전년 동기 대비 24.4% 늘었다. 같은 기간 명품 매출이 10.1% 증가한 것에 비해 두 배가량 높은 성장률이다.<br /><br />유통·패션업계에선 MZ세대가 유아동복 시장 성장을 이끌고 있다고 분석한다. SNS에 자녀 사진을 올리는 게 흔해지면서 ‘브랜드 옷’ 판매가 늘고 있다는 것이다. 예컨대 인스타그램에 자녀가 유치원에 어떤 옷을 입고 가는지 공유하는 ‘등원룩’ 게시글은 약 663만 개에 이른다. 유통업계 관계자는 “최근 선물용 상품인 유아차, 인형, 보디슈트 등도 럭셔리 제품들이 잘 팔린다”고 말했다.<br /><br />라현진 기자
