Les investigations archéologiques ont permis de mettre au jour des vestiges d'habitats datant de la fin de l'âge du Bronze ou du début du premier âge du Fer, de l'Antiquité gallo-romaine et du haut Moyen Âge. Parmi les structures les plus anciennes, mentionnons un silo (comportant de nombreux éléments de céramique, de torchis et des graines carbonisées) et un fosse dite « en Y » qui serait une fosse-piège à gibier. À la transition entre la fin de l'Antiquité et le premier Moyen Âge, deux petits fours pourraient avoir servi à cuire de la céramique. Le premier (ST 1289), assez bien conservé et construit exclusivement avec des fragments de tuiles, comporte un laboratoire circulaire (1 m de diamètre externe), les restes d'une sole perforée, et un alandier d'un mètre de long. Le second (ST 701) est très lacunaire. Son laboratoire, construit en tuiles et en petits blocs calcaire est quadrangulaire (un peu plus d'un mètre de côté), avec un alandier de 1,60 m de long. Leurs comblements d'abandon, ainsi que leurs abords, comportent un important lot de céramique comportant des stigmates de cuisson (près de 6500 tessons, pour un poids total dépassant 85 kg, au sein desquels de nombreux éléments sont fissurés, desquamés ou déformés). Celui-ci est constitué, entre autres, de fragments de pots globulaires standardisés, de coupes à carène souvent décorées à la molette, de marmites à suspension... Ces éléments sont datés typologiquement de la fin du V e ou du début du VI e siècle. Cette fourchette chronologique est confirmée par deux datations par thermoluminescence. De nombreux restes de tuiles de couverture sont associés aux rejets céramiques et portent les mêmes stigmates : déformation, gonflement, fissuration. Les deux fours de potier ont donc manifestement été employés à la cuisson de terres cuites architecturales, malgré leurs très petites tailles, à moins que d'autres fours, non conservés ou hors emprise, aient existés. Quelques autres structures (TP, fosses), réparties sur le secteur central de fouille, ont livré de petits lots de céramique de la même période, sans que l'on puisse savoir si elles sont liées à l'atelier de potier/tuilier ou si le mobilier qu'elles comportent est résiduel. L'occupation de la deuxième moitié du haut Moyen Âge (VIII e -XI e s.) consiste en un habitat rural assez vaste structuré notamment par plusieurs longs fossés parallèles d'axe sud-ouest - nord-est. On constate plusieurs concentrations de trous de poteaux (vestiges de bâtiments en terre et bois dont les plans sont très peu lisibles) et de silos qui témoignent, soit de la multi-polarisation de l'habitat, soit du déplacement de celui-ci sur de courtes distances, au cours de la période. Sept fours sont également dispersés sur les secteurs 2 et 3. La plupart s'apparente à des fours domestiques, probablement destinés à cuire le pain ou à griller les céréales. Ils sont creusés en sape dans le substrat sableux et comportent des soles constituées de limon ou construites avec des fragments de tegulae). Le four du secteur 3 (ST 331), qui se distingue des autres, notamment pas sa profondeur serait un nouveau petit four de potier. Il a livré 679 tessons témoignant d'une production très standardisée de pots et de cruches semblables à ceux consommés à Blois entre le IX e et le début du X e s. Trois puits, situés côte-à-côte, ont été fouillés intégralement. Ils sont peu profonds (moins de 3 m) et cylindriques. They date from the Bronze age and they were found in Burgundy near to the Saône river. These two sets come from preventive excavations conducted by the INRAP (National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research). The first set comes from Athée “Champs de Grette” (Côte-d’Or). This site was hold between the upper Palaeolithic to the end of the first Iron age. The second set comes from Sevrey “En Longeois” (Saône-et-Loire). This one was hold between Neolithic and during the Gallo-Roman period. For both sets, there is a significant number of ceramics. Last year, we created our own typology of forms and ornaments. This work allows us to identify more easily the rest of the ceramics of these two sites. The goal of this year is to develop our “technological eye”. So, we tried to understand how potters build their own ceramics. For this, we recall the manufacturing process like forming, roughing and surface treatment during finishing. We have also included firing and sizing of inclusions of ceramic bodies. The technological observations on the ceramics of the two sites give us the opportunity to see if similarities and differences are observables. Thereby, we can supposethat interactions between artisans of the two sites couldhappened andallowed exchanges and development of shared (or not) technologies and methods. ------------- Ce mémoire de deuxième année consiste à l’analyse de deux corpus de céramiques datées du début de l’âge du Bronze final et qui sont localisés en Bourgogne au bord de la Saône. Ces deux corpus sont issus de fouilles préventives réalisées par l’INRAP. Le premier corpus provient du « Champs de Grette » et a été mis au jour à Athée en Côte d’Or, il s’agit d’un site occupé entre le Paléolithique supérieur et la fin du premier âge du Fer. Le nombre minimum d’individus pour la période de l’âge du Bronze final est de 350. Quant au deuxième corpus, il a lui été mis au jour sur la commune de Sevrey « En Longeois » à proximité de Chalon-sur-Saône en Saône-et-Loire. Sevrey « En Longeois » a été occupé du néolithique à la période gallo-romaine. Concernant l’âge du Bronze final, ici aussi, on dénombre une importante quantité de céramiques. L’année passée nous avions mis au point une typologie des formes et des décors sur deux fosses de ces sites ; ce travail déjà effectué nous permet d’inventorier et de répertorier le reste du mobilier. L’objectif de cette année étant d’aborder un aspect plus technologique de ces céramiques. Nous avons essayé de comprendre comment ces céramiques ont été fabriquées en évoquant notamment le concept des chaines opératoires comme la mise en forme, l’ébauchage et le traitement des surfaces lors des finitions. Enfin, nous avons également abordé la granulométrie des inclusions et la cuisson des pâtes. Les observations technologiques sur les corpus céramiques des deux sites nous donne l’opportunité de voir si des concordances et des différences sont observables.
