uprising that eventually ousted Muammar Gaddafi was one political enigma that seems to have defied the imagination of most Africanist scholars. Many questions may arise, yet not all may find suitable answers. This paper however attempts to tackle some of these questions in the light of the respective roles played by the AU and NATO in the entire episode heralding the demise of the Libyan leader.
