If they will save us, we will live, and if they kill us, we will die!” <A name="6"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/7-5.htm#aramaic"><b>5</b></a></span>And they arose at dawn to go to the encampment of Edom, and they arrived at the edge of the camp, and there was no one there. <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/7-6.htm#aramaic"><b>6</b></a></span>And LORD JEHOVAH had made heard the sound of horses to the encampment of Edom, and the sound of horsemen, and the sound of a mighty army, and they said, each man to his fellow man: “Behold, the King of Israel has hired against us the King of the Egyptians and the King of the Khethites to come against us!” <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/7-7.htm#aramaic"><b>7</b></a></span>And they arose and fled at dawn and they left their tents and their horses and their donkeys and their camp just as it was made, and they fled for their lives. <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/7-8.htm#aramaic"><b>8</b></a></span>And those men came to the border of the camp, and they entered one tent, and they ate and they drank and they took from there silver and gold and garments, and they went and they hid it and they returned, and they entered another tent and they picked up from there, and they went and they hid it.<p> <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/7-9.htm#aramaic"><b>9</b></a></span>And they said, each man to his companion: “We are not doing rightly today! This is a day of good news, and how long will we be silent and wait, until the morning light will shine and sin will meet us?
