changes set out in <a href="http://www.opsi.gov.uk/acts/acts2005/20050014.htm">The Railways Act 2005</a> that required amendments to the legislation.</p> <p>The HSE gives advice to the Government on health and safety matters. As one of our statutory duties, we work closely with the HSE on any safety implications that may follow from the exercise of its functions.</p> <p>The HSE is responsible for the regulation of risks to health and safety arising from work activity in Britain.
