To achieve the objective of the study, a questionnaire was designed comprising 32 items applied to the study sample which consisted of 128 students from the Departments of Arabic and English at Al-Quds University in Palestine. Academic writing requires conscious effort and much practice in organization, language use and mechanics in writing. This study is an attempt to show that most common types of writing problems among English language female students at King Khalid University. College of ARTs, Sciences and community. Sixty students participated in this study, they were asked to give a sample of own- writing modules and to answer a questionnaire about what they think the reasons behind writing problems they face when they write in English. The data are different types of writing problems among English language female students.The findings of the study showed that students declared the main problems behind their weakness of writing were grammatical weakness, limited training and writing practice, and educational background. Twenty-eight students were considered good candidates for this research using two criteria of self reporting and high means of responses. Twenty-five faculty members teaching the previous sample were asked to fill in a similar survey conveying the current level of writing for the selected student. Results revealed four categories of handwriting problem; handwriting, sentence structure, vocabulary and spelling, and written expression. For the purpose of this study, only one research question was provided and discussed. The study also aims at identifying and analyzing these errors, determining the causes of these errors, as well as investigating the factors that contribute to their occurrence and suggesting suitable solutions for the problem. For this purpose, research questions are posed and the answers to these questions are provided and discussed. The sample of this study includes 20 students who are chosen from the Level Four students besides the EFL teachers in the abovementioned college. The analytical descriptive approach is adopted to handle this study. The study focuses on grammatical, punctuation, lexical, spelling and discourse errors in the writing English production of these learners .Testing, questionnaire , structured interview and personal observation of the researcher are all used as tools for collecting data. Extensive research into students&amp;#39; writing abilities is one method for understanding the challenges they face when writing. This study aims to investigate the most frequent English writing errors made by Saudi female university students at the tertiary level. The study&amp;#39;s population comprised forty female college students. They had 45 minutes to write paragraphs on a variety of subjects. The participants in this study were selected at random and asked to compose an essay on any of the topics provided so that errors could be identified; the results were then analyzed and explained. Based on the findings, we can conclude that all 40 paragraphs of the essays written by Saudi female university students at the tertiary level contained 192 misspellings.
