ds2-5-body-sm">This study aims to assess the quality of post-reformation good governance implementation in 34 Indonesian provincial governments using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method. Specifically, the method determines the governance index sourced from the KNKG covering democracy, transparency, accountability, legal culture, and fairness and equality principles. The study used a multidimensional index by incorporating information from the Indonesia Governance Index (IGI) principles indicators, the Evaluation of local government performance reports, the annual reports of local governments financial statement and the Central Bureau of Statistics from 2015 to 2017. The Two-staged Factor Analysis was employed for weights assignment. The problem in this study is how are the dynamics and constraints faced by the sub-district head in realizing good governance in Wae Ri'i District, Manggarai Regency? The purpose of this research related to scientific development is to contribute to good governance-based governance, especially in the Eastern Indonesia region, which is still faced with limited infrastructure. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, the data sources are primary and secondary data. Collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The research location is in Wae Ri'i District, Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), taking into account the phenomena that occur such as non-transparent service times and limited infrastructure. Triangulation is used to test the validity of the data, namely the persistence of observations, and triangulation of sources. The stages in data analysis consist of data reduction, data presentation, and data validation. This paper investigates good governance in Indonesia, with a focus on its implementation by regional / local government. Indonesia&#39;s good governance implementation has attracted further attention with it being the vocal point of its current president&#39;s, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, presidential vision and mission. This study also to examine impact quality of local government financial reporting on local revenue. Population in this study is all local government in Indonesia which includes a number of 497 district and cities. This research uses a purposive sampling design, the exact type of quota sampling. This type of sampling design can ensure that certain groups are fairly represented in the study through a quota. which is set for each sub group based on the number of each group in the population.
