open access journal devoted to the rapid dissemination of new and original scientific results in all areas of absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, toxicology and pharmacokinetics of drugs.</p> <p><em>ADMET and DMPK</em> publishes the following types of contributions:</p> <p>- Original research papers<br>- Feature articles<br>- Review articles<br>- Short communications and Notes<br>- Letters to Editors<br>- Book reviews</p> <p>The scope of the Journal involves, but is not limited to, the following areas:</p> <p>- physico-chemical properties of drugs and methods of their determination</p> <p>- drug permeabilities</p> <p>- drug absorption<br>- drug-drug, drug-protein, drug-membrane and drug-DNA interactions<br>- chemical stability and degradations of drugs<br>- instrumental methods in ADMET<br>- drug metablic processes</p> <p>- routes of administration and excretion of drug</p> <p>- pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic study</p> <p>- quantitative structure activity/property relationship</p> <p>- ADME/PK modelling</p> <p>- Toxicology screening</p> <p>- Transporter identification and study</p> <p>Studies concern the optimization of ADMET properties for improving the pharmacokinetic profiles are particularly welcome.</p> <p>Authors are responsible for their research works, animals used for experiments, presentation and interpretation of results. Editor-in-Chief, Editors and Editorial Board do not claim any responsibility, liability of statements/opinion made by authors.</p> </div> <div id="peerReviewProcess"> <h3>Peer Review Process</h3> <p>ADMET and DMPK is a peer reviewed Journal. Single blind review process is used. Contributions will be considered for publication only if they are of interest to our readers and relevant to the Scope of the Journal. The results must be novel and previously unpublished. Presentation of the results and their discussion should be at the high scientific level. The manuscripts should be concise and clear. The manuscripts with the languages below acceptable level of clarity will be rejected.</p> <p>In order to keep high scientific standard of the journal, all contributions are sent to a minimum of at least two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editor(s) are responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance of rejection of articles. In order to ensure continuous and fast publishing process, the Editors will do their best to keep the review process within two weeks of article submission.<br>To avoid eventual conflict of interest the papers submitted by the members of the Editorial board are reviewed by the reviewers not included in the Editorial board. Reviewers from other geographical regions will be selected in such a case.</p> </div> <div id="openAccessPolicy"> <h3>Open Access Policy</h3> <p>This Journal is an Open Access journal.
