The study further investigates person-job fit as an underlying mechanism of the association between WLB practices and turnover intention. The study’s data were collected through a self-administered questionnaire garnered from 550 full-time academics working in higher educational institutions in South India (Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana, as well as the union territories of Lakshadweep and Puducherry). Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was employed for the statistical analysis of the data, using Smart PLS 3.2.8 software. To date, research has failed to explore the antecedents of faculty members’ turnover intention, especially in the context of Pakistan. The purpose of this study was to investigate worklife balance practices and person-organization fit as antecedents of faculty members’ turnover intention. This study hypothesized that work-life balance practices and person-organization fit are negatively related to intention to leave the job. Furthermore, the study proposed that person-organization fit mediates the negative relationship between work-life balance practices and intention to leave the job. This study adopted a cross-sectional design and a quantitative approach. The data was collected from a total of 250 faculty members from the public sector colleges in Baluchistan, Pakistan, through self-administered questionnaires. This study used partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) for the analysis of measurement and structural model. The results revealed that work-life balance practices and person-organization fit had a direct negative and significant effect on employees' intention to leave the job. Furthermore, the results also showed that person-organization fit mediated the relationship between work-life balance practices and intention to leave the job. This study contributes to work-life balance practices and person-organization fit literature by examining the mediating processes through which work-life balance practices and intention to leave are linked. These findings provide important implications for human resource professionals to reduce the turnover of faculty members. Every person wants to maintain equilibrium between their work and family life so that they can lead a balanced life. This is the reason that employees now prefer companies that offer exclusive and attractive work life balance policies. Therefore many organizations adopted Work-Life Balance practices in order to attract better applicants and reduce work-life conflict among existing employees in order to enhance organizational performance. This paper studies the impact of Work-Life Balance practices on employee retention and how they enhance organizational performance. The findings show that a Work-Life Balance it is not a quandary to be determined once but a constant concern to be managed. For organization goals to be achieved through the people employed, Work-Life Balance concerns must become a crucial feature of human resource policy and strategy. We suggest organizations need to improve their practices in order to improve organizational performance , including enhanced social exchange processes, increased cost savings, improved productivity and reduced turnover. The sample selection was done by convenience sampling method. The study was conducted in Noida region with a sample of 200 employees taken from IT Industry. The data was collected with the help of a structured questionnaire. The current study drew upon samples of 145 teaching employees of private higher education institutions in the education sector of Haryana. A questionnaire was administered to gather the necessary information. Data was evaluated by using the Smart PLS (v.3.2.9) software. In addition, structural equation modeling was conducted to achieve the study’s objectives, and SPSS 25 software was used to compute the demographic profile of teaching employees. The findings indicated that the turnover intention of teaching employees is positively associated with work-life conflict and work stress. In addition, work stress as an intervening variable positively and significantly impacts kinship amid work-life conflict and turnover intention. Work life imbalance effect both personal and work life. A balanced life is one where we spread our energy and efforts between key areas of importance. Work life balance has become important and necessary for almost all categories of employees, including those employees in teaching position. This paper explored the impact of work life balance on job satisfaction and organizational commitment among teaching employees of university of Gujrat. A sample of 171 employees gathered via stratified random sampling which has been provided the basis for analysis. Data was collected through questionnaire and analyzed through SPSS. The purpose of this study is to examine the direct effect of person-organisation fit (POF) and person-job fit (PJF) on faculty members’ turnover intentions. Furthermore, the study explores the mediating role of PJF between POF and turnover intention. Data collected from faculty members of public sector colleges (n = 250) were analysed using partial least squares structural equation modelling. The results, contrary to our expectations, revealed that POF is not a significant predictor of faculty turnover intention. However, the results provided support for the negative relationship between PJF and turnover intention. Worklife balance is a topic of interest for both researchers and management all over the globe. A quantitative research methodology was implemented in this study, and a descriptive research design was carried out. A stratified random sampling of 160 employees. Psychometric instruments were used to measure the variables: the work-life balance questionnaire (WLB Q) and the turnover intention questionnaire (TI Q). Correlational analysis was utilized to investigate the relationships between the two variables. The results suggest that work-life balance is essential for organizational survival and that the institution should promote it. It was also planned to look into the influence of certain demographic factors in predicting work satisfaction. The WLB scale developed and standardized by Unnimaya P.S. (2018) on the target sample was used in this study and for the job satisfaction, the model developed by Singh (1990) was used. The Sample involved50 Educators from 5 different Higher Education Institutions of Dimapur District. Results showed that all study variables positively and significantly correlated with each other. Results further showed that selected demographic factors were significantly expected the level of WLB.
