<i>these things</i> must come to pass; but the end is not yet.<Fr> <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span><FR>For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; but whatsoever is given you in that hour, this speak: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit.<Fr> <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span><FR>And brother will deliver up brother to death; <a href ="../luke/21.htm#20">Luke 21:20&#8211;24</a>)</span><p><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span><FR>But when ye see the abomination of desolation standing where it ought not,<Fr> (let him that reads understand), <FR>then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains;<Fr> <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span><FR>And let him who is on the house not come down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house;<Fr> <A name="17"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span><FR>and let him who is in the field not turn back to take his garment.<Fr> <A name="18"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-17.htm"><b>17</b></a></span><FR>But woe to those with child and to those giving suck in those days!<Fr> <A name="19"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span><FR>And pray that it be not in winter;<Fr> <A name="20"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span><FR>for those days will be a <i>time of</i> tribulation, such as there has not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will be.<Fr> <A name="21"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-20.htm"><b>20</b></a></span><FR>And, unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would have been saved; but, for the elect's sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days.<Fr> <A name="22"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-21.htm"><b>21</b></a></span><FR>And then, if any one shall say to you, 'Lo, here is the Christ!' or, 'Lo, there!' believe him not;<Fr> <A name="23"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-22.htm"><b>22</b></a></span><FR>for there will arise false Christs and false prophets, and will show signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, the elect.<Fr> <A name="24"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-23.htm"><b>23</b></a></span><FR>But take heed;
