Bilimleri Dergisi, 2018</p><p class="ds-related-work--abstract ds2-5-body-sm">Genç bireylerin fiziksel ve ruhsal bütünlüğünü olumlu yönde geliştirmesine katkı sağlayan fiziksel aktivitenin serbest zaman aktiviteleri içinde yer alması ile ilgili farkındalığın artması önemlidir. Bu nedenle bu araştırmanın amacı, fiziksel aktivite yapan ve yapmayan üniversite öğrencilerinin serbest zaman ile ilişkili tutum, yönetim ve tatminlerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2017-2018 öğretim yılı güz ve bahar döneminde Hacettepe Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Ergoterapi Bölümünde okuyan öğrenciler oluşturdu. Öğrenciler, haftada en az iki günlük serbest zaman aktivitesini üniversitenin sağladığı bir imkânla fiziksel aktivite yaparak geçirenler (n=76) ve geçirmeyenler (n=62) olarak iki gruba ayrıldı. Çalışmada serbest zaman değerlendirme anketi, 18-22 yaş yetişkinlerde fiziksel aktivite içeren oyunları oynamaya yönelik tutumları ölçeği ve boş zaman yönetim ölçeği kullanıldı. Verilerin analizinde bağımsız örneklem t testi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre öğrencilerin tutumları ve boş zaman aktivitelerinde memnuniyet düzeyleri arasında anlamlı fark bulunmuştur (p&lt;0,05); Bununla birlikte, öğrencilerin boş zaman aktiviteleri üzerine yönetiminde anlamlı bir fark görülmemiştir (p&gt; 0,05). Bireylerin rekreasyonel tercih ve eğilimleri, bireylerin sosyo-demografik özellikleri ve yaşadıkları çevrede bulunan rekreasyonel alan özelliklerine bağlı olarak değişim göstermektedir. Bu araştırmada, aldıkları bölüm eğitiminin içeriği gereği konu hakkında farkındalık düzeyleri yüksek olma potansiyeline sahip oldukları düşünülerek Ege Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Peyzaj Mimarlığı öğrencilerinin rekreasyonel eğilimleri; gerçekleştirdikleri aktivite çeşitleri ve aktivitelere katılım sıklıkları, rekreasyonel alan özellikleriyle ilgili motive edici ve kısıtlayıcı faktörler temelinde belirlenmiştir. ABSTRACT ecreation is the whole of activities of modern society&#39;s individuals that are aimed at getting away from the pressures of the built environment, stress and routines of daily life, linking nature or just for enjoyment. Recreational preferences and trends vary depending on the socio-demographic characteristics of the individual and the recreational area characteristics of the surrounding environment. The recreational tendencies of students of Landscape Architecture students of Ege University, Faculty of Agriculture, given that they have the potential to have a high level of awareness about the subject, types of recreational activities they perform and the frequency of participation in those activities are determined on the basis of motivating and restrictive factors related to recreational area characteristics within this study. For this purpose, a face-to-face interview was conducted with 138 students and the analyzes of the questionnaires resulted that the recreational tendencies of the participants showed statistically significant differences depending on gender, grade of education, income level and duration of stay in city of İzmir. Öğrencilerin özgürce oyun oynayabilecekleri ve çeşitli rekreasyonel aktiviteler yapabileceği serbest zamanı oldukça sınırlı kalmaktadır. Araştırmada öğrencilerin zaman değerlendirme biçimleri, oyun ve serbest zamanları ile ilgili mekân ve aktivite tercihlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Tarama yönteminin kullanıldığı araştırmada veriler Erzurum ili Palandöken İlçesinde bulunan Kayak Yolu Çimento Müstahsilleri İşveren Sendikası Ortaokulu&#39;nda eğitim gören 282 öğrenci ile yüz yüze yapılan anket çalışmasından elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler öğrencilerin %59&#39;unun serbest zamanlarını dış (açık) mekânlarda geçirmeyi tercih ettikleri, açık alanda öğrencilerin sportif aktiviteleri (%43.6), kapalı alanda ise aile ve arkadaşları ile zaman geçirmeyi (%29) en fazla tercih ettikleri görülmüştür. Cinsiyete göre açık ve kapalı mekan rekreasyon tercihlerinde farklılıkların olduğu, erkek öğrencilerin fiziksel aktiviteye dayalı aktif rekreasyonu, kız öğrencilerin ise az hareketli yaşam tarzına uygun pasif rekreasyonu daha fazla tercih ettikleri belirlenmiştir. The population of the study consisted of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Faculty of Sport Sciences students. The sample consisted of 261 students (Physical Education and Sports Teaching, Coaching Education, Sports Management and Recreation), 102 of whom were female and 159 of whom were male, selected from all departments by random sampling method. As data collection tools in the study, personal information form prepared by the researchers (age, gender, department, grade, monthly personal income and employment status), &quot;Leisure Time Interest Scale&quot; developed by Kyle et al. (2007) to determine students&#39; leisure time interest levels and &quot;Life Satisfaction Scale&quot; developed by Diener et al. (1985) to determine students&#39; life satisfaction levels were used. To determine the demographic characteristics of the data, frequency and percentage analysis, kurtosis and skewness analyses to determine whether the scale scores are normally distributed, t-test and ANOVA tests to determine the relationship between the independent variable of the study, leisure time interest, and the dependent variable, life satisfaction, and Pearson correlation test to determine the relationship between the two variables. Çalışmaya Ankara ilinde bulunan ve çeşitli üniversitelerde beden eğitimi ve spor alanında öğrenimini sürdüren 78 kadın ve 151 erkek toplam 229 öğrenci (í µí±¥̅ yaş=22.45±6.10 ve í µí±¥̅ yaş=23.10±9.12) gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, Serbest Zamanda Sıkılma Algısı Ölçeği (Kara, Gürbüz ve Öncü, 2014) ve İçme Nedenleri Anketi Gözden Geçirilmiş Formu (Topuz, 2004) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada öne sürülen hipotezleri test etmek için t-testi ve çoklu regresyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Bulgular, sıkılma alt boyutu ile eğlenme (β=0.13), başa çıkma (β=0.34), uyum sağlama (β=0.46) ve sosyalleşme (β=0.24) alt boyutları arasındaki ilişkinin pozitif olduğunu göstermiştir (p&lt;0.01). Ayrıca bulgular katılımcıların ölçeklerden aldıkları puanlara göre cinsiyete göre anlamlı ilişkiler olduğunu göstermektedir. Çalışmanın sonuçları literatürdeki bulgular bağlamında tartışılmıştır. Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of leisure boredom in predicting drinking motives in university student and examine the gender differences in these variables. Totally 229 (78 women; í µí±¥̅ age=22.45±6.10 and 151 men; í µí±¥̅ age=23.10±9.12) students who are continuing their studies in physical education and sports in various universities in Ankara. The Leisure Boredom Scale &quot; (Kara, Gürbüz and Öncü, 2014) and &quot; Drinking Motives Questionnaire-Revised and Demographic Information Form &quot; (Topuz, 2004) administered to participants. In order to test the hypotheses t-test and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis were performed. Results showed that boredom subscale was a significant predictor of enhancement (β=0.13), coping (β=0.34), conformity motives (β=0.46) and social (β=0.24) (p&lt;0.01). Results also indicated that there were significant differences were found between gender and scales.
