ilgilenim düzeyleri ile davranışsal niyetleri (tekrar katılım ve tavsiye etme) arasındaki ilişkilerin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yaklaşımlarından, korelasyonel araştırma yöntemi ele alınmıştır. Araştırmaya 381 erkek (X yaş =22.352.276) ve 198 kadın (X yaş =21.732.185) gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Katılımcıların serbest zaman ilgilenim düzeylerini belirlemek üzere, Serbest Zaman İlgilenim Ölçeği (SZİÖ) ve tekrar katılım ile tavsiye etme niyetlerini belirlemeye yönelik literatür taraması sonucu belirlenen dört ifadeye anket formunda yer verilmiştir. Yüz yüze görüşme tekniğiyle elde edilen 579 adet anket, betimsel istatistikler, faktör, korelasyon ve regresyon analizleriyle çözümlenmiştir. Egzersize tekrar katılım ve tavsiye etme niyetiyle SZİÖ&#39;nin alt boyutları arasında orta ve yüksek düzeyde, pozitif ve anlamlı ilişki olduğu bulunmuştur. Değişkenler arası kurulan çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizleri sonucunda; SZİ alt boyutlarının egzersize tekrar katılım niyeti üzerinde istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu, ilgili boyutların egzersize katılım niyetindeki toplam varyansın yaklaşık %54&#39;ünü açıkladığı görülmüştür (F (5.573) =139.052;p&lt;.05). İlgili değişkenlerin göreli önem sırası; çekicilik, kendini ifade, sosyal ilişki özdeşleşme ve önem verme şeklinde oluşmuştur. Tavsiye etme niyetinde, SZİ alt boyutlarından üç tanesinin istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Yüz yüze görüşme tekniğiyle elde edilen 579 adet anket, betimsel istatistikler, faktör, korelasyon ve regresyon analizleriyle çözümlenmiştir.
