This scientific phenomenon uses a broad range of techniques for separation, identification, quantification and functional characterization of biological molecules. It provides the information about the physical properties of biological macromolecules at chemical sequence level or a global structural level. The analysis of body fluids can be done using the tools of chemistry, microbiology, hematology and molecular pathology.
