The measurement uses data collected by the LHCb experiment in 2018 corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2 $\text{fb}^{-1}$. Both the $\mit违(\mathrm{2}S)$-to-$\mit违(\mathrm{1}S)$ and $\mit违(\mathrm{3}S)$-to-$\mit违(\mathrm{1}S)$ cross-section ratios are found to decrease significantly as a function of event multiplicity, with the $\mit违(\mathrm{3}S)$-to-$\mit违(\mathrm{1}S)$ ratio showing a steeper decline towards high multiplicity. This hierarchy is qualitatively consistent with the comover model predictions, indicating that final-state interactions play an important role in bottomonia production in high-multiplicity events. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('2501.12611v2-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('2501.12611v2-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 23 January, 2025; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 21 January, 2025; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> January 2025. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">All figures and tables, along with machine-readable versions and any supplementary material and additional information, are available at https://lbfence.cern.ch/alcm/public/analysis/full-details/1782/ (LHCb public pages)</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> LHCb-PAPER-2024-038, CERN-EP-2024-318 </p> </li> <li class="arxiv-result"> <div class="is-marginless"> <p class="list-title is-inline-block"><a href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2411.09343">arXiv:2411.09343</a> <span>&nbsp;[<a href="https://arxiv.org/pdf/2411.09343">pdf</a>, <a href="https://arxiv.org/format/2411.09343">other</a>]&nbsp;</span> </p> <div class="tags is-inline-block"> <span class="tag is-small is-link tooltip is-tooltip-top" data-tooltip="High Energy Physics - Experiment">hep-ex</span> <span class="tag is-small is-grey tooltip is-tooltip-top" data-tooltip="Nuclear Experiment">nucl-ex</span> </div> </div> <p class="title is-5 mathjax"> Measurement of $蠁(1020)$ meson production in fixed-target $\textit{p}$Ne collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 68.5 GeV </p> <p class="authors"> <span class="search-hit">Authors:</span> <a href="/search/nucl-ex?searchtype=author&amp;query=LHCb+collaboration"> LHCb collaboration</a>, <a href="/search/nucl-ex?searchtype=author&amp;query=Aaij%2C+R">R. The study of flow harmonics in a wide pseudorapidity range is particularly valuable to understand the temperature dependence of the shear viscosity to entropy density ratio of the QGP. This paper presents the first LHCb results of the second- and the third-order flow harmonic coefficients of charged hadrons as a function of transverse momentum in the forward region, corresponding to pseudorapidities between 2.0 and 4.9, using the data collected from PbPb collisions in 2018 at a center-of-mass energy of $5.02$ TeV. The coefficients measured using the two-particle angular correlation analysis method are smaller than the central-pseudorapidity measurements at ALICE and ATLAS from the same collision system but share similar features. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('2311.09985v2-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('2311.09985v2-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 16 May, 2024; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 16 November, 2023; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> November 2023. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">All figures and tables, along with any supplementary material and additional information, are available at https://cern.ch/lhcbproject/Publications/p/LHCb-PAPER-2023-031.html (LHCb public pages)</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> LHCb-PAPER-2023-031, CERN-EP-2023-240 </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Journal ref:</span> Phys. The nuclear modification factors of both $D^+_{s}$ and $D^+$ mesons are determined as a function of transverse momentum, $p_{\mathrm{T}}$, and rapidity. In addition, the $D^+_{s}$ to $D^+$ cross-section ratio is measured as a function of the charged particle multiplicity in the event. An enhanced $D^+_{s}$ to $D^+$ production in high-multiplicity events is observed for the whole measured $p_{\mathrm{T}}$ range, in particular at low $p_{\mathrm{T}}$ and backward rapidity, where the significance exceeds six standard deviations. This constitutes the first observation of strangeness enhancement in charm quark hadronization in high-multiplicity $p\mathrm{Pb}$ collisions. The results are also qualitatively consistent with the presence of quark coalescence as an additional charm quark hadronization mechanism in high-multiplicity proton-lead collisions. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('2311.08490v2-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('2311.08490v2-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 4 September, 2024; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 14 November, 2023; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> November 2023. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">All figures and tables, along with machine-readable versions and any supplementary material and additional information, are available at https://cern.ch/lhcbproject/Publications/p/LHCb-PAPER-2023-021.html (LHCb public pages)</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> LHCb-PAPER-2023-021, CERN-EP-2023-236 </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Journal ref:</span> Phys. Forward and backward rapidity samples correspond to integrated luminosities of 13.6 $\pm$ 0.3 nb$^{-1}$ and 20.8 $\pm$ 0.5 nb$^{-1}$, respectively. The result is presented as a function of the $J/蠄$ transverse momentum $p_{T,J/蠄}$ in the range 1$&lt;p_{T, J/蠄}&lt;20$ GeV/$c$. The $F_{蠂c}$ fraction at forward rapidity is compatible with the LHCb measurement performed in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV, whereas the result at backward rapidity is 2.4 $蟽$ larger than in the forward region for $1&lt;p_{T, J/蠄}&lt;3$ GeV/$c$. The increase of $F_{蠂c}$ at low $p_{T, J/蠄}$ at backward rapidity is compatible with the suppression of the $蠄$(2S) contribution to the prompt $J/蠄$ yield. The lack of in-medium dissociation of $蠂_c$ states observed in this study sets an upper limit of 180 MeV on the free energy available in these pPb collisions to dissociate or inhibit charmonium state formation. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('2311.01562v1-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('2311.01562v1-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 2 November, 2023; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> November 2023. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">All figures and tables, along with machine-readable versions and any supplementary material and additional information, are available at https://cern.ch/lhcbproject/Publications/p/LHCb-PAPER-2023-028.html (LHCb public pages)</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> LHCb-PAPER-2023-028, CERN-EP-2023-224 </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Journal ref:</span> Phys. Proton-proton collisions are studied at center-of-mass energies of $5.02$ and $13~{\rm TeV}$, and proton-lead collisions are studied at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon of $8.16~{\rm TeV}$. The studies are performed in center-of-mass rapidity regions $2.5&lt;y_{\rm c.m.}&lt;3.5$ (forward rapidity) and $-4.0&lt;y_{\rm c.m.}&lt;-3.0$ (backward rapidity) defined relative to the proton beam direction. The $畏$ and $畏&#39;$ production cross sections are measured differentially as a function of transverse momentum for $1.5&lt;p_{\rm T}&lt;10~{\rm GeV}$ and $3&lt;p_{\rm T}&lt;10~{\rm GeV}$, respectively. The differential cross sections are used to calculate nuclear modification factors. The nuclear modification factors for $畏$ and $畏&#39;$ mesons agree at both forward and backward rapidity, showing no significant evidence of mass dependence. The differential cross sections of $畏$ mesons are also used to calculate $畏/蟺^0$ cross section ratios, which show evidence of a deviation from the world average. These studies offer new constraints on mass-dependent nuclear effects in heavy-ion collisions, as well as $畏$ and $畏&#39;$ meson fragmentation. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('2310.17326v2-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('2310.17326v2-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 13 February, 2025; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 26 October, 2023; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> October 2023. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">All figures and tables, along with machine-readable versions and any supplementary material and additional information, are available at https://lhcbproject.web.cern.ch/Publications/p/LHCb-PAPER-2023-030.html (LHCb public pages)</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> LHCb-PAPER-2023-030, CERN-EP-2023-228 </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Journal ref:</span> Phys. The data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $(1.58\pm0.02)\mathrm{nb}^{-1}$ is collected by the LHCb experiment at the LHC. The differential production cross-sections are measured using $D^+$ and $D^+_{s}$ candidates with transverse momentum in the range of $0&lt;p_{\mathrm{T}} &lt;14\,\mathrm{GeV}/c$ and rapidities in the ranges of $1.5&lt;y^*&lt;4.0$ and $-5.0&lt;y^*&lt;-2.5$ in the nucleon-nucleon centre-of-mass system. For both particles, the nuclear modification factor and the forward-backward production ratio are determined. These results are compared with theoretical models that include initial-state nuclear effects. In addition, measurements of the cross-section ratios between $D^+$, $D^+_{s}$ and $D^0$ mesons are presented, providing a baseline for studying the charm hadronization in lead-lead collisions at LHC energies. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('2309.14206v4-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('2309.14206v4-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 25 January, 2024; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 25 September, 2023; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> September 2023. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">All figures and tables, along with any supplementary material and additional information, are available at https://cern.ch/lhcbproject/Publications/p/LHCb-PAPER-2023-006.html (LHCb public pages). arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:1707.02750</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> CERN-EP-2023-142, LHCb-PAPER-2023-006 </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Journal ref:</span> JHEP 01 (2024) 070 </p> </li> <li class="arxiv-result"> <div class="is-marginless"> <p class="list-title is-inline-block"><a href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2305.06711">arXiv:2305.06711</a> <span>&nbsp;[<a href="https://arxiv.org/pdf/2305.06711">pdf</a>, <a href="https://arxiv.org/format/2305.06711">other</a>]&nbsp;</span> </p> <div class="tags is-inline-block"> <span class="tag is-small is-link tooltip is-tooltip-top" data-tooltip="High Energy Physics - Experiment">hep-ex</span> <span class="tag is-small is-grey tooltip is-tooltip-top" data-tooltip="Nuclear Experiment">nucl-ex</span> </div> <div class="is-inline-block" style="margin-left: 0.5rem"> <div class="tags has-addons"> <span class="tag is-dark is-size-7">doi</span> <span class="tag is-light is-size-7"><a class="" href="https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevC.109.044901">10.1103/PhysRevC.109.044901 <i class="fa fa-external-link" aria-hidden="true"></i></a></span> </div> </div> </div> <p class="title is-5 mathjax"> Measurement of $螢_{c}^{+}$ production in $p$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=8.16$ TeV at LHCb </p> <p class="authors"> <span class="search-hit">Authors:</span> <a href="/search/nucl-ex?searchtype=author&amp;query=LHCb+collaboration"> LHCb collaboration</a>, <a href="/search/nucl-ex?searchtype=author&amp;query=Aaij%2C+R">R. Together, these measurements provide precise constraints on models of nuclear structure and particle production in high-energy nuclear collisions. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('2204.10608v2-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('2204.10608v2-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 26 July, 2023; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 22 April, 2022; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> April 2022. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">All figures and tables, along with any supplementary material and additional information, are available at https://cern.ch/lhcbproject/Publications/p/LHCb-PAPER-2021-053.html (LHCb public pages)</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> LHCb-PAPER-2021-053, CERN-EP-2022-050 </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Journal ref:</span> Phys. The nuclear modification factor for charged particles is determined as a function of $畏$ between ${-4.8&lt;畏&lt;-2.5}$ (backward region) and ${2.0&lt;畏&lt;4.8}$ (forward region), and $p_{\mathrm{T}}$ between ${0.2&lt;p_{\mathrm{T}}&lt;8.0\,\mathrm{GeV}/c}$. The results show a suppression of charged particle production in proton-lead collisions relative to proton-proton collisions in the forward region and an enhancement in the backward region for $p_{\mathrm{T}}$ larger than $1.5\,\mathrm{GeV}/c$. The cross-section ratio $蟽(蠂_{c2}) / 蟽(蠂_{c1})$ is measured in $p$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 8.16 TeV, collected with the LHCb experiment. The $蠂_{c1,2}$ states are reconstructed via their decay to a $\rm{J}/蠄$ meson, subsequently decaying into a pair of oppositely charged muons, and a photon, which is reconstructed in the calorimeter or via its conversion in the detector material. The cross-section ratio is consistent with unity in the two considered rapidity regions. Comparison with a corresponding cross-section ratio previously measured by the LHCb collaboration in $pp$ collisions suggests that $蠂_{c1}$ and $蠂_{c2}$ states are similarly affected by nuclear effects occurring in $p$Pb collisions. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('2103.07349v2-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('2103.07349v2-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 16 June, 2021; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 12 March, 2021; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> March 2021. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">All figures and tables, along with any supplementary material and additional information, are available at https://cern.ch/lhcbproject/Publications/p/LHCb-PAPER-2020-048.html (LHCb public pages)</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> LHCb-PAPER-2020-048, CERN-EP-2021-024 </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Journal ref:</span> Phys. The measurement uses a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $12.2\pm0.3\,\mathrm{nb}^{-1}$ for the case where the proton beam is projected into the LHCb detector (corresponding to measuring hadron production at positive rapidity) and $18.6\pm0.5\,\mathrm{nb}^{-1}$ for the lead beam projected into the LHCb detector (corresponding to measuring hadron production at negative rapidity). Nuclear effects are probed through double-differential cross-sections, forward-to-backward cross-section ratios and nuclear modification factors of the beauty hadrons. The double-differential cross-sections are measured as a function of the beauty-hadron transverse momentum and rapidity in the nucleon-nucleon centre-of-mass frame. Forward-to-backward cross-section ratios and nuclear modification factors indicate a significant nuclear suppression at positive rapidity. The ratio of $螞_b^0$ over $B^0$ production cross-sections is reported and is consistent with the corresponding measurement in $pp$~collisions. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('1902.05599v2-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('1902.05599v2-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 28 March, 2019; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 14 February, 2019; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> February 2019. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">All figures and tables, along with any supplementary material and additional information, are available at https://cern.ch/lhcbproject/Publications/p/LHCb-PAPER-2018-048.html</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> LHCb-PAPER-2018-048; CERN-EP-2019-010 </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Journal ref:</span> Phys. The $违(nS)$ mesons are reconstructed through their decays into two opposite-sign muons. The measurements comprise the differential production cross-sections of the $违(1S)$ and $违(2S)$ states, their forward-to-backward ratios and nuclear modification factors, performed as a function of the transverse momentum \pt and rapidity in the nucleon-nucleon centre-of-mass frame $y^*$ of the $违(nS)$ states, in the kinematic range $p_{\rm{T}}&lt;25$ GeV/$c$ and $1.5&lt;y^*&lt;4.0$ ($-5.0&lt;y^*&lt;-2.5$) for $p$Pb (Pb$p$) collisions. In addition, production cross-sections for $违(3S)$ are measured integrated over phase space and the production ratios between all three $违(nS)$ states are determined. The measurements are compared to theoretical predictions and suppressions for quarkonium in $p$Pb collisions are observed. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('1810.07655v3-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('1810.07655v3-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 28 January, 2020; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 17 October, 2018; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> October 2018. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">All figures and tables, along with any supplementary material and additional information, are available at https://lhcbproject.web.cern.ch/lhcbproject/Publications/LHCbProjectPublic/LHCb-PAPER-2018-035.html updated to correct figure 11 (numerical results unchanged)</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> LHCb-PAPER-2018-035, CERN-EP-2018-267 </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Journal ref:</span> JHEP11(2018)194 </p> </li> <li class="arxiv-result"> <div class="is-marginless"> <p class="list-title is-inline-block"><a href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1809.01404">arXiv:1809.01404</a> <span>&nbsp;[<a href="https://arxiv.org/pdf/1809.01404">pdf</a>, <a href="https://arxiv.org/format/1809.01404">other</a>]&nbsp;</span> </p> <div class="tags is-inline-block"> <span class="tag is-small is-link tooltip is-tooltip-top" data-tooltip="High Energy Physics - Experiment">hep-ex</span> <span class="tag is-small is-grey tooltip is-tooltip-top" data-tooltip="Nuclear Experiment">nucl-ex</span> </div> <div class="is-inline-block" style="margin-left: 0.5rem"> <div class="tags has-addons"> <span class="tag is-dark is-size-7">doi</span> <span class="tag is-light is-size-7"><a class="" href="https://doi.org/10.1007/JHEP02(2019)102">10.1007/JHEP02(2019)102 <i class="fa fa-external-link" aria-hidden="true"></i></a></span> </div> </div> </div> <p class="title is-5 mathjax"> Prompt $螞^+_c$ production in $p\mathrm{Pb}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 5.02$ TeV </p> <p class="authors"> <span class="search-hit">Authors:</span> <a href="/search/nucl-ex?searchtype=author&amp;query=LHCb+collaboration"> LHCb collaboration</a>, <a href="/search/nucl-ex?searchtype=author&amp;query=Aaij%2C+R">R. The analysis is based on data recorded in two beam configurations, in which either the direction of the proton or that of the lead ion is analysed. The correlations are measured in the laboratory system as a function of relative pseudorapidity, $螖畏$, and relative azimuthal angle, $螖蠁$, for events in different classes of event activity and for different bins of particle transverse momentum. In high-activity events a long-range correlation on the near side, $螖蠁\approx 0$, is observed in the pseudorapidity range $2.0&lt;畏&lt;4.9$. This measurement of long-range correlations on the near side in proton-lead collisions extends previous observations into the forward region up to $畏=4.9$. The correlation increases with growing event activity and is found to be more pronounced in the direction of the lead beam. However, the correlation in the direction of the lead and proton beams are found to be compatible when comparing events with similar absolute activity in the direction analysed. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('1512.00439v2-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('1512.00439v2-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 11 December, 2016; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 1 December, 2015; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> December 2015. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">All figures and tables, along with any supplementary material and additional information, are available at https://lhcbproject.web.cern.ch/lhcbproject/Publications/LHCbProjectPublic/LHCb-PAPER-2015-040.html</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> LHCb-PAPER-2015-040, CERN-PH-EP-2015-308 </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Journal ref:</span> Phys. The invariant mass of the $蟺^+蟺^-$ pair and three decay angular distributions are used to determine the fractions of the resonant and non-resonant components. Six interfering $蟺^+蟺^-$ states: $蟻(770)$, $f_0(500)$, $f_2(1270)$, $蟻(1450)$, $蠅(782)$ and $蟻(1700)$ are required to give a good description of invariant mass spectra and decay angular distributions. The positive and negative CP fractions of each of the resonant final states are determined. The $f_0(980)$ meson is not seen and the upper limit on its presence, compared with the observed $f_0(500)$ rate, is inconsistent with a model of tetraquark substructure for these scalar mesons at the eight standard deviation level. In the $q\overline{q}$ model, the absolute value of the mixing angle between the $f_0(980)$ and the $f_0(500)$ scalar mesons is limited to be less than $17^{\circ}$ at 90% confidence level. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('1404.5673v2-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('1404.5673v2-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 26 June, 2014; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 22 April, 2014; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> April 2014. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">28 pages 14 figures</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> CERN-PH-EP-2014-069, LHCb-PAPER-2014-012 </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Journal ref:</span> Phys. The analysis is based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about $1.6 \mathrm{nb}^{-1}$. For the first time the nuclear modification factor and forward-backward production ratio are determined separately for prompt $J/蠄$ mesons and $J/蠄$ from $b$-hadron decays. Clear suppression of prompt $J/蠄$ production with respect to proton-proton collisions at large rapidity is observed, while the production of $J/蠄$ from $b$-hadron decays is less suppressed. These results show good agreement with available theoretical predictions. The measurement shows that cold nuclear matter effects are important for interpretations of the related quark-gluon plasma signatures in heavy-ion collisions. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space:
