The conference will take place in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, from 13-15 November 2024 with the theme <em><strong>Open Is Everyone’s Business</strong>.</em></p> <p>The theme encapsulates the notion that openness is not only the domain of librarians, learning designers, and faculty. It extends across the entire institution and into the broader community. It includes the entire education sector, the GLAM (Gallery, Libraries, Archives, & Museums) sector, policymakers, citizen science groups, and more.  All have a role to play in creating a society where free and open access to knowledge is practised, normalised, and valued.</p> <p>OE Global 2024 recognises the multifaceted nature of openness and the maturing intersection between open and key societal concepts linked to inclusion, diversity, access, cultural representation, and social justice.
