au monde. Il est constitué de deux legs successifs, celui du poète-président lui-même en 1979 (trois volumes, côtes 17884-17886) et celui de son épouse en 2006 (deux volumes, côtes 28103 1 et 2). À cela s’ajoutent les nombreuses lettres conservées dans les fonds d’autres auteur·rice·s, des éditions/rééditions rares, ainsi que des enregistrements sonores et audiovisuels, qui montrent le dialogue entre le poète et les artistes : voir le <a href="https://catalogue.bnf.fr/index.do">catalogue général</a> et le catalogue « <a href="https://archivesetmanuscrits.bnf.fr/">BnF Archives et manuscrits</a> »</p> <p>Puisque, jusqu’à présent, peu d’études ont été consacrées au processus d’écriture du poète-président, la BnF et le groupe de recherche international <a href="http://www.item.ens.fr/senghor/">L. S. Senghor</a> souhaitent mettre en valeur ce patrimoine manuscrit et, par la même occasion, développer les études senghoriennes à partir d’une approche génétique de ses œuvres littéraires et de ses textes théoriques ou politiques. Que nous apprennent les manuscrits et les archives au sujet du style et de la langue de Senghor, de la composition de ses poèmes et de ses recueils, de ses traductions des langues africaines et de l’anglais, des liens intertextuels et des rapports intersémiotiques, ou encore des sociabilités littéraires et du milieu intellectuel et éditorial dans lequel l’œuvre a pris place ?</p> <p>Loin de se limiter au fonds de la BnF, les communications pourront mobiliser d’autres archives de/sur Senghor à travers le monde. Elles pourront s’appuyer également sur les versions préoriginales parues dans des revues ou des ouvrages collectifs.
