You knew that I reap where I did not sow, and gather where I did not scatter.<Fr> <A name="28"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-27.htm"><b>27</b></a></span><FR>It behooved you, therefore, to put my money to the bankers; and, <i>at my</i> coming, I would have received my own with interest.<Fr> <A name="29"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-28.htm"><b>28</b></a></span><FR>Take from him, therefore, the talent, and give it to him who has the ten talents.'<Fr><p> <A name="30"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-29.htm"><b>29</b></a></span><FR>For, to every one that has, shall be given, and he shall be made to abound; but from him that has not shall be taken away even what he has;<Fr> <A name="31"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-30.htm"><b>30</b></a></span><FR>and cast out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness: there will be the weeping, and the gnashing of teeth!<Fr><p> <A name="32"></a><p class="hdg">The Sheep and the Goats<p><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-31.htm"><b>31</b></a></span><FR>"And, when the Son of man cometh in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then will He sit on <i>the</i> throne of His glory;<Fr> <A name="33"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-32.htm"><b>32</b></a></span><FR>and there will be gathered before Him all the nations; and He will separate them one from another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;<Fr> <A name="34"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-33.htm"><b>33</b></a></span><FR>and He will set the sheep, indeed, on His right hand, but the goats on the left.<Fr><p> <A name="35"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-34.htm"><b>34</b></a></span><FR>"Then will the King say to those on His right hand, 'Come, ye blessed of My Father! inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the founding of the world:<Fr> <A name="36"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-35.htm"><b>35</b></a></span><FR>for I hungered, and ye gave Me to eat; I thirsted, and ye gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took Me in;<Fr> <A name="37"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-36.htm"><b>36</b></a></span><FR>naked, and ye clothed Me; I was sick, and ye looked after Me; I was in prison, and ye came to Me.'<Fr> <A name="38"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-37.htm"><b>37</b></a></span><FR>"Then will the righteous answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see Thee hungering, and fed <i>Thee?</i> or thirsting, and gave Thee drink?<Fr> <A name="39"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-38.htm"><b>38</b></a></span><FR>And when did we see Thee a stranger, and took Thee in; or naked, and clothed <i>Thee?</i><Fr> <A name="40"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-39.htm"><b>39</b></a></span><FR>And, when did we see Thee sick, or in prison, and came to Thee?'<Fr> <A name="41"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-40.htm"><b>40</b></a></span><FR>"And, answering, the King will say to them, 'Verily I say to you, inasmuch as ye did <i>it</i> to one of My brethren, <i>even</i> the least, ye did <i>it</i> to Me.'<Fr><p> <A name="42"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/25-41.htm"><b>41</b></a></span><FR>Then will He say also to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, ye accursed!
