I have pressed them out in my passion and I trod them in my anger and splashed their blood on my garments, and I soaked all my garments<p> <A name="5"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/isaiah/63-4.htm#aramaic"><b>4</b></a></span>Because the day of vengeance is in my heart, and the year of my redemption has arrived<p> <A name="6"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/isaiah/63-5.htm#aramaic"><b>5</b></a></span>I looked and there was none who helps and I was astonished, and there was none who supports, and my arm saved me, and my passion, that has supported me<p> <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/isaiah/63-6.htm#aramaic"><b>6</b></a></span>For I trod the nations in my passion and I grieved them in my anger, and I brought their strength down to the ground<p> <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/isaiah/63-7.htm#aramaic"><b>7</b></a></span>I shall remember the grace of LORD JEHOVAH, and the glory of LORD JEHOVAH for everything that LORD JEHOVAH has bestowed on me. He multiplied his grace on him of the house of Israel, for he paid me according to his compassions and according to the abundance of his favors<p> <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/isaiah/63-8.htm#aramaic"><b>8</b></a></span>And he said "My people are children who do not lie&#8221;, and he was the Redeemer to them<p> <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/isaiah/63-9.htm#aramaic"><b>9</b></a></span>In all their adversity he did not afflict them, and the Angel of his presence saved them. Abraham did not know us and Israel did not acknowledge us.
