In high school, the same concept is taught as the ratio between the masses of two bodies of the same volume. This dichotomy of the concept of relative density between the two educational cycles, separately approached, induces initial representations that can constitute epistemological obstacles for its conceptualization and scientific understanding. This study proposes an interdisciplinary approach between chemistry, physics, and mathematics, combining “intuitive understanding” and “mathematical formalism”, with the aim of evolving intuitive perceptions toward a scientific understanding of the concept of relative density, based on the sorting of plastic waste. After establishing the conditions of buoyancy, immersion, and sinking, <br />this approach highlights the existence of several types of plastics and their relative density based selective sorting. This experimentation on the buoyancy of solutions on each other and of solids in solutions provides chemistry and physics teachers with an experimental didactic tool to support their interventions in the teaching/learning process of the concept of relative density. Cet article s'interroge sur l'impact d'un modèle précurseur sur la situation de départ d'une démarche d'investigation lors d'une séquence d'apprentissage en optique au collège. Partant d'un questionnaire sur l'ombre, la lumière transmise et la couleur des objets, l'étude a consisté à identifier d'abord quelques représentations initiales des élèves en optique. Á partir d'une analyse de séances de cours suivies d'entretiens de type auto-confrontation fondée sur la théorie de l'activité, elle a ensuite permis d'apprécier particulièrement les situations de départ élaborées par les enseignants. Il présente les dangers d'une mauvaise gestion des déchets plastiques et l'impact sur un enseignement/apprentissage d'outils didactiques de sensibilisation se rapportant au tri de ces déchets selon la nature du polymère les composant. Ces outils didactiques ont été utilisés par des enseignants en classe de première scientifique dans deux établissements secondaires au Burkina Faso. Les observations des séquences d'apprentissage, selon une approche combinée de la théorie de l'activité et des actions conjointes en didactique, ont montré que ces outils constituent un apport didactique considérable sur l'enseignement des notions abordées. L'évaluation des apprentissages entre le pré-test et le post-test a confirmé ce constat. This rapid dynamic is <br />linked to natural growth and significant migration, both international, <br />with the displaced persons from the Ivorian conflict during the 2000s, <br />and internal, with the persistence of migratory flows from rural areas. <br />According to the Ouagadougou Population Observatory (OPO), 71% of <br />adults over 15 years of age were not born in the capital. This sustained <br />growth exerts extremely strong pressure on the residential situation of <br />natives and migrants, who are very often forced to live in the suburbs <br />of the city. This article analyses the residential trajectories of internal <br />and international migrants in Ouagadougou. With a population of around 3 million in 2020, Ouagadougou alone is home to 45.4% of the country's urban population. It covers an area of 51,800 ha, or a density of 58<br />inhabitants. / ha (INSD, 2009, 2020). This rapid growth is linked to births, migrations (urban, rural exodus) and people displaced by crises (land, security). It exerts pressure on the residential situation of the ouagalans, often forced into difficult arrangements. As public supply is negligible<br />and the property market predominantly informal, young people are often forced to adopt strategies to gain access to housing and property. The main objective of the study is to analyze the residential strategies adopted by young adults in informal and precarious neighborhoods called<br />non-housing estates compared to their counterparts in housing estates in order to gain access to housing or to a plot. She hypothesizes that the residential strategies of young adults in housing estates differ from those of young people in non-housing estates. The methodology is based on<br />qualitative data (interviews) collected between 2014 and 2020 from 66 young adults from the different neighborhoods and non-housing estates of the city of Ouagadougou. The choice of young people was made in a reasoned way through criteria such as age, area of residence, activity carried out. These interviews were processed and used according to our study theme to achieve results.<br />Thus, five housing access strategies have been identified. Of the region's 1,098,177 inhabitants (INSD, 2019), approximately 574,000 are internally displaced persons (IDPs) (CONASUR, 2022). Education is one of the sectors most affected by insecurity.<br />In Dori alone, 62.02% of the 14,256 IDPs are children, most of whom are of school age (OCHA, 2022). This insecurity linked to terrorist acts has led to the closure of many schools. In this difficult context, what remains of the educational infrastructure? What is the school map of the Sahel region like? This research examines the situation of educational infrastructures in a context of insecurity in the Sahel region of Burkina Faso. It examines the functionality and equipment of educational infrastructure at the primary and secondary levels. The methodology is based on the analysis of data collected by the General Directorate of Territorial Development from March 14 to 25, 2022, in which we took part. It is a census of all the educational<br />infrastructures in all the communes of the Sahel region. The state of these infrastructures as well as their functionality were also informed. The data was collected using the KoBoCollect data collection application, installed on smartphones in which the questionnaire was deployed.<br />This allowed for rapid data collection by the commune focal points and geolocation of the infrastructure. Their spontaneous and illegal occupation in the city is a problem for local authorities, particularly the arrondissements of the Ouagadougou commune. The aim of this article is to analyze and demonstrate the use and destination of green spaces in arrondissement 6 of the Ouagadougou<br />Commune. The aim is to study the various socio-economic and environmental implications. The objective of this article is to analyze the socio-economic and environmental effects of the use and destination of green spaces in the arrondissement 6 of the Municipality of Ouagadougou. The methodology used is based firstly on both scientific and institutional documentary research.<br />Subsequently, interviews were conducted with stakeholders from the administration, local authorities,<br />and residents between 2020 and 2022. These interviews were followed by on-site observations using<br />photographic equipment and GPS (Global Positioning System). The results show that the arrondissement 6 has 94 green spaces. Many green spaces are occupied by places of worship, various activities, or have become garbage dumps. As a result, many actors occupy these green spaces without official documentation. In Burkina Faso,specifically in the city of Bobo-Dioulasso, taxidrivers have chosen to convert vehicles designedto run on gasoline or diesel to operate on butanegas as a rational choice for increased profitability<br />The objective of this article is to demonstrate<br />how the rational choice of using butane gas by<br />taxi drivers shapes urban transportation in the<br />city of Bobo-Dioulasso. The aim is to study the<br />various economic and geographical implications<br />of using gas in the urban mobility sector in Bobo-Dioulasso. The methodology used is based on a literature review, both scientific and institutional. It allowed for the integration of rationality theory. Subsequently, an iterative survey involving interviews based on a semi-structured questionnaire was conducted with 125 taxi drivers during 2018-2019. These interviews were followed by field observations using photographic equipment and GPS.<br />The results reveal that economic reasons remain <br />the main motive for taxis to use domestic bu-<br />tane gas. Geographically, the use of gas leads to<br />avoiding certain areas during the rainy season<br />and provides a broader spatial scope of work at a<br />lower cost for the drivers. The disengagement of the State with the Agricultural Sector Structural Adjustment Program (PASA) starting from 1990 has led to several constraints, such as the degradation of hydroagricultural infrastructures, insufficient developed plots, drainage issues, and land<br />conflicts, among others. The Mogtédo plain is no exception. Several questions prompted this study, including whether the plain is registered and what are the modes of access and land management. <br />The objective of the study is to analyze the land security of the developed plain of Mogtédo. To achieve this, qualitative data were collected through interviews with key informants, administrative personnel, and plain producers. In addition to interviews, secondary data were also collected from relevant technical services in taxation and agriculture. The collected data were processed using Microsoft Word and Excel software. <br />The study's results reveal that the developed plain of Mogtédo is neither delimited,<br />nor demarcated, nor registered. No producer has land titles or others occupancy rights. This lack of security for producers leads to land conflicts. It is managed by a semi-public company called Société de développement intégrée du pôle de Bagré, or "Bagrepole" for short. The ambition was to accelerate the structural transformation of the national economy through intensive economic development and local production. This new strategy focuses on public and private investment. The aim of the study is to analyze agricultural production in the Bagré growth pole and its contribution to food security in Burkina Faso. To this end, qualitative data were collected through interviews with the Bagrépôle administration, producers and processors. In addition to the interviews, secondary data were also collected from the appropriate technical services. The results of the study show, among other things, that the creation of the Bagré growth pole has increased production in all agroforestry sectors.
