Initially, we intend to use the software to track the performance of our newly-hired staff but we decided to use it on all our employees because it was able to show visible improvement in our overall productivity. Not only are we able to track employees in a group, in general, or individually. We can also send instant messages to check for updates and progress reports of certain projects. Because of this, our employees are now more focused on their work and on producing the best result for the company.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> While we speak about Workpuls in a positive light, we can't deny that the product still has ways to go before we can deem it as the best time tracking software. It still has many faults in terms of deployment, implementation, and customization. This costs us to work off some extra time to find a solution to the problems it brings. Another notable issue has something to do with the reporting feature. Sometimes it doesn't update accordingly when we tell it to. It also doesn't offer any automation support for extracting report data so we have to do it manually. It offers a variety of features that lets us create schedules for our employees in order to maximize their productivity. We gain critical insights regarding the individual and overall performances of our workforce which is useful whenever we have to supervise them in their projects. All tasks can be broken down and listed as separate items so that they can be tracked in the most logical sense. There are also communication-assist features like instant chat that further improve the collaboration processes between teams. Furthermore, thanks to all those benefits, the software also solidifies the sense of unity and trust between the team of employees and the management within our organization.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> The main problems of Workpuls are confusing dashboards and its limitation when it comes to customizing the project schedules and follow-up tasks. We found out that the tool is perfectly suitable for monitoring time and breaking down employee schedules but it lacks ways to customize project schedules which is a big hassle sometimes. We usually use the screenshots to compare the time spent on work and various admin tasks and then monitor the progress. The screenshots can also be turned off which allows our employees to have some privacy. Workpuls is also very secure and can be set to only work at certain times, which is great for remote contractors and employees that use their own computers.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> Honestly, I cannot think of anything bad about Workpuls. It's very accessible so we can monitor and get an update for a certain project's progress anytime and anywhere. The program is customizable as well, allowing us to tweak the settings to best fit the different sizes of our teams. Moreover, dedicated employees can use Workpuls to improve their work ethic and productivity by properly analyzing each passing hour of their work.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> Some of the things that Workpuls needs to work on are its not-so-friendly UI, sluggish performance, difficulty in logging in, and the lack of other management tools. I also think it's a bit pricey for me to consider it a great value product. Because of that, our employees can focus on their core work instead of manually tracking their tasks. The reports also help the managers to identify the cause of distractions if there are any, and limit the access to them. Thanks to this, we can manage all of our employees' time more efficiently. There is also a stealth mode that helps track the time spent by contractors and other temporary workers.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I have nothing bad to say about the employee monitoring aspect and the software in general. Also, because it is deployed in the cloud, all our employees can quickly implement this on their workstations. Plus, the collaborative features are pretty useful too. One of the best features is the guard module, which lets us monitor the information that passes along the devices we track. Another great feature of Workpuls is that it offers a wide range of options to help you customize and create professional community bulletins, newsletters, and booklets. All work-related activities are also shared through the collaborative network.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> While the interface is generally intuitive, some of the features and processes can be difficult to figure out, especially for the newbies who use the system for the first time. Even simple servers can be difficult to set up sometimes regardless if the organization is big or small. I find Workpuls a pretty straightforward tool to use, but that's only because I have some background with management platforms. The others who do not possess such experience will have some technical issues with the software. Managers can also limit distractions and better manage everyone\'s time.
