Based in Cologne, he often works on projects related to strategy, portfolio assessment, functional excellence, mergers and acquisitions, and innovation.</p> <p>Thomas’ recent work for clients includes:</p> <ul> <li>Helping specialty chemical companies with business portfolio reviews, holistic turnarounds, commercial excellence programs, and the development of growth strategies; </li> <li>Assisting specialty chemical companies in navigating all aspects of the M&A process, including the systematic screening of acquisition targets, due diligence, and post-merger integration; </li> <li>Optimizing supply chains, inventory processes, and production networks at chemical companies. </li> </ul> <p>On the knowledge front, Thomas has been a key contributor to a global McKinsey effort investigating the implications of megatrends in the chemicals industry, including their effect on business strategies.
