And the new pet should be quite useful.<br> <br> <strong class="text-strong">(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?</strong><br> Not losing any high-level units. Serpents hit hard and if your entanglers refuse to do their job you are screwed.<br> <br> <strong class="text-strong">(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)</strong><br> 5/10 Interesting opponent's unit composition makes it okay.<br> <br> <strong class="text-strong">(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?</strong><br> The map doesn't offer you much tactical choices. In the end it's just a frontal, static slug fest in the center. This is exacerbated by the fact that serpents and cuttle fishs can outrun you, therefore retreating is pointless, so it's even less dynamic. It's a short scenario, not bad, not by any means. Just a little bit vanilla.<br> <br> <strong class="text-strong">(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?</strong><br> Bad hitrolls during the most important turns caused heavy casualties. (1-10)</strong> 7.<br> <strong class="text-strong">(3) Objectives?</strong> Clear.<br> <strong class="text-strong">(4) Dialog?</strong> Fine.<br> <strong class="text-strong">(5) Challenges?</strong> After reading the walkthrough and the above reviews, I was suitably paranoid. The new image of the Sea Serpent also scared me. So, I played conservatively and patiently, and given that, it wasn't difficult. I held a line against the initial assault, then advanced rapidly after it broke. Meanwhile, Keshan and some escorts piddled around the northern pass and Citizens grabbed villages to distract the enemy. I didn't lose anyone higher than L1.<br> <strong class="text-strong">(6) Fun? (1-10)</strong> 9.<br> <strong class="text-strong">(7) Changes?</strong> I don't think you need to change anything. For players who are handicapped in some way (e.g., less starting gold), it will still be a big challenge. There was one point where basically all my units were wounded, and I was close to having major problems, so I think it's balanced well. The tension level was very high.<br> <strong class="text-strong">(8) Restarts?</strong> None. (1-10)<br> 6 - It's hard to kill the leader on land while he is constantly recruiting; however this scenario is not as difficult as it looks since the leader is unable to use most of his gold.<br> <br> (3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?<br> Clear.<br> <br> (4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?<br> I loved the dialog here; it was very amusing. They were strong and kept poisoning everyone around them, but the Diviners kept removing it and healing each other. Tried to fight at night and got my butt kicked. Keeping my Drake Flare alive was a challenge. He cannot move fast over water and they really went for him. <br> <strong class="text-strong">(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10) </strong> very fun. The next time I retreated to the northeast corner at sunset. The island and rocks offer protection at night. Sent citizens to the other areas to distract the enemy until morning. Then slowly moved forward. It took 3 of my Mermaid Diviners to kill each big green sea serpent. Finished the scenario with 5 Mermaid Diviners, 2 Tritons (one with the storm sword), an Entangler and Kai at level 3. Overall it was pretty straightforward, just run during the night and attack during the day, using illumination + leadership and citizen fodder and stuff. At least I got to use some fighters due to the sea creatures' impact resistance.<br> The shortage of villages was also an issue, I didn't have much carryover because some units promoted and started demanding more gold.<br> Apparently I had really good luck in this scenario but I don't think it really mattered.<br> <br> (6) How fun do you think the scenario is?
