Refund Payments</h1>  <div class="content_editor"> <p>Your faculty, college, campus or graduate unit has notified you of award funding that will be paid out on your ACORN invoice. At this point, you should decide on the <a href="#payment-option"><u>award refund payment option</u> </a> and take the steps necessary for the fastest and most reliable award payment option.</p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate award payments are normally paid out after the end of the registration period (e.g. mid-late September, mid-late January).</li> <li>Graduate award payments may be paid out at the beginning of each term or session, or on a monthly or other basis.</li> </ul> <h2>Role of Your Awards Office</h2> <p><a href="https://awardexplorer.utoronto.ca/help/">The awards office</a> will decide to apply the award payment to outstanding fees, automatically refund the award payment or apply a portion to outstanding fees and automatically refund the remaining funding.</p> <p>Award pay out instructions will be displayed on your ACORN invoice. You must confirm with your bank that the cheque has not been cashed before requesting an investigation. The Student Accounts Office will initiate the investigation with the bank.
