Deliberate researcher.</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: right"><span style="color: #ebbd05"><strong>— A subtitle — how cliche´</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify">I am an Associate Professor (I) at the <a href="http://rri.res.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Raman Research Institute</a> (RRI), Bangalore, India. In September 2017, I graduated with a PhD from the <a href="http://rsaa.anu.edu.au/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics</a> of the <a href="http://www.anu.edu.au/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Australian National University</a> (ANU). Following this I was a postdoctoral fellow and an affiliate with the physics division at <a href="http://www.lbl.gov/">Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory</a>. I work primarily in experimental cosmology. My current research interests include building instruments and techniques to detect faint distortions in the spectrum of the Cosmic Microwave Background radiation. I am also interested in foreground modeling and subtraction as applicable in low, mid-frequency radio astronomy, with a special interest in the diffuse radio emission from our galaxy. With a background in electronics and communication engineering, I am also interested in various aspects of instrumentation in radio astronomy including antenna design and developing calibration techniques to minimize and characterize systematics. I enjoy developing educational resources for school children, reading and traveling. As a new mother, I am constantly thinking about living well.
