name="2"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-1.htm#aramaic"><b>1</b></a></span>In the twenty and seventh year of Yorbaam, King of Israel, Uzzia, son of Amutsia, King of Yehuda, became king. <A name="3"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-2.htm#aramaic"><b>2</b></a></span>He was a son of sixteen years when he became king, and he reigned fiftytwo years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother was Yekinya from Jerusalem. <A name="4"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-3.htm#aramaic"><b>3</b></a></span>And he did what is beautiful before LORD JEHOVAH like Amutsia his father. <A name="5"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-4.htm#aramaic"><b>4</b></a></span>However he did not remove the high places, and the people were still sacrificing and putting incense on the high places. <A name="6"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-5.htm#aramaic"><b>5</b></a></span>And LORD JEHOVAH struck the King, and he was a leper until the day that he died, and he sat down in the house secretly, and Yotham, son of the King, the Steward, was judging the people of the land. <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-6.htm#aramaic"><b>6</b></a></span>And the rest of the accounts of Uzzia and everything that he did, behold, they are written in the book of The Chronicles King of Yehuda, Zechariah son of Yorbaam reigned over Israel in Samaria six months. <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-9.htm#aramaic"><b>9</b></a></span>And he did evil before LORD JEHOVAH, according to what his father did, and he did not turn aside from all the sins of Yorbaam, son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin. <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-10.htm#aramaic"><b>10</b></a></span>And Shallum son of Yabish rebelled against him and struck him in front of the people and killed him, and he became king after him. <A shall have four sons seated on the throne of Israel.” And it was so.<p> <A name="14"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-13.htm#aramaic"><b>13</b></a></span>And Shalum son of Yabish reigned in the thirty and ninth year of Uzzia, King of Yehuda, and he reigned a month of days in Samaria. <A name="15"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-14.htm#aramaic"><b>14</b></a></span>And Makhanim, son of Gaddi, went up from Terzah and entered Samaria and struck Shalum, son of Yabish, in Samaria, and he killed him, and King of Assyria, came against the land, and Makhanim gave Pul one thousand talents of silver, that his hand would be with him and that he would seize the kingdom with his hand. <A name="21"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-20.htm#aramaic"><b>20</b></a></span>And Makhanim raised against Israel money against all the rich of the land, to give to the King of Assyria fifty mighty man, rebelled against him and killed him in Samaria in the palace of the house of the King, and he took Argaub and Lani and fifty men of the sons of Gelad with him, and he killed him and he fiftysecond year of Uzzia, King of Yehuda, Piqakh, son of Rumalia, reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty years. <A name="29"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-28.htm#aramaic"><b>28</b></a></span>And he did evil before LORD JEHOVAH, and he did not turn aside from the sins of Yorbaam son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.<p> <A name="30"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-29.htm#aramaic"><b>29</b></a></span>And in the days of Piqakh the King of Israel, TaglathPilasir King of Assyria came and he took Aion and AbelMekhula and all Bayth Maaka, and Nayakh, and Qadesh, and Khetsur, and Gelad, and Galila and all the land of Naphtali, and he led them captive to Assyria. <A name="31"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-30.htm#aramaic"><b>30</b></a></span>And Hosha, son of Elah, made a rebellion against Piqakh son of Rumalia, and struck and killed him, and he became king href="/parallel/2_kings/15-32.htm#aramaic"><b>32</b></a></span>In the year two of Piqakh, son of Rumalia, King of Israel, Yotham, son of Uzzia, became King of Yehuda. <A name="34"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-33.htm#aramaic"><b>33</b></a></span>He was a son of twenty and five years when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother was Yerusha, daughter of Tsadoq. <A name="35"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-34.htm#aramaic"><b>34</b></a></span>And he did what is beautiful before LORD JEHOVAH people were sacrificing and were laying incense on the high places, and he built the upper gate of the house of LORD JEHOVAH. <A name="37"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_kings/15-36.htm#aramaic"><b>36</b></a></span>And the rest of the words of Yotham and everything that he did, now they are written in the book of The Chronicles of the Kings of
