Contadini, cuochi, insegnanti, studenti, pescatori, raccoglitori. Migliaia di persone che in tutto il mondo difendono produzioni a rischio di estinzione e che si impegnano per un’agricoltura buona, pulita e giusta. Protagonisti dei progetti che il movimento avvia e coordina in 160 paesi. </p> <p> In trent’anni, <strong>Slow Food</strong> ha raccolto un patrimonio di fotografie. Oltre 200.000 immagini realizzate nel corso di campagne, di eventi, di progetti, di viaggi. Una documentazione di valore che oggi dà vita alla fototeca che <strong>Slow Food</strong> ha reso disponibile in formato digitale. Non solo uno strumento di lavoro ma un modo per promuovere, valorizzare, documentare, comunicare e raccontare i progetti: dai <strong><em>Presìdi</em></strong> all’<strong><em>Arca del Gusto</em></strong>, dai <strong><em>Mercati della Terra</em></strong> agli eventi, dalle principali campagne ai viaggi attraverso la rete. E per promuovere una rete di professionisti, fotografi, che collaborano con l’associazione, con passione ed entusiasmo. Lo scopo della fototeca è quello di essere un reportage, un racconto dei progetti e degli eventi: molto spesso si troveranno foto di insieme e qualora siano ritratte persone singole, come nel caso di cuochi, delegati di <strong><em>Terra Madre</em></strong> o produttori di <strong><em>Mercati della Terra</em></strong> o <strong><em>Presìdi</em></strong>, <strong>Slow Food</strong> richiede il consenso e la liberatoria all’uso sul materiale audio, foto e video. </p> <p> Come funziona? La fototeca è raggiungibile online all’indirizzo <a href="http://imagelibrary.slowfood.it/">imagelibrary.slowfood.it</a>. Una volta creato un account personale, l’utente potrà navigare all’interno dell’archivio, fare ricerche per parole chiave, quindi selezionare le immagini che più gli sono utili. <br /><strong>Slow Food</strong> a questo punto effettuerà una valutazione e darà l’approvazione all’utente che potrà così scaricare la selezione precedentemente effettuata. </p> <p> Il materiale fotografico è stato ordinato e catalogato secondo i temi e i progetti <strong>Slow Food</strong>. Si tratta di una risorsa importantissima, creata tutelando i soggetti fotografati. <br /><strong>Slow Food</strong> chiede pertanto agli utenti che scaricano le immagini di rispettarne le condizione di utilizzo, tra cui la citazione dell’autore della foto e usando le immagini solo relativamente ai temi <strong>Slow Food</strong>. </p> <br /> <p> <i> <strong>Slow Food</strong> ha bisogno del tuo aiuto per coordinare i progetti in tutto il mondo. And all protagonists of the projects Slow Food has launched and coordinated in 160 countries. </p> <p> In its 30 years of activity, <strong>Slow Food</strong> has collected a wealth of photographs–more than 200,000–in the course of its campaigns, events, projects and journeys. This documentation has given life to a picture library that is now being made available in digital form. Not only as a work tool but also as a way of promoting, valorizing, documenting, communicating and describing projects: from the <strong><em>Presidia</em></strong> to the <strong><em>Ark of Taste</em></strong>, from the <strong><em>Earth Markets</em></strong> to events, from the principal campaigns to travels across the network. And of promoting a team of professionals–photographers–to collaborate with the association with passion and enthusiasm. The library’s aim is to report and illustrate projects and events: many of the images are general, and wherever they show individuals – as in the case of cooks, <strong><em>Terra Madre</em></strong> delegates, <strong><em>Earth Market</em></strong> or <strong><em>Presidium</em></strong> producers and so on – <strong>Slow Food</strong> will request permission and a waiver for the use of audio, visual and photographic material. </p> <p> How does the library work? All you have to do it visit it online at <a href="http://imagelibrary.slowfood.it">imagelibrary.slowfood.it</a>., and after creating a personal account, navigate the archive, search key words, and select the desired image(s). <br />At this point <strong>Slow Food</strong> will evaluate the selection and, if appropriate, grant you the right to download the image(s) in question. </p> <p> The photographic material has been arranged and catalogued by <strong>Slow Food</strong> themes and projects.
