Sorry about that!</p> <p>I dunno, it’s always been really unreliable for me. One of the biggest issues i had with it was uploading files by dragging-and-dropping. Basically I made several uploads today but when I go online to check my website it remains like if I didn’t do any changes to it.<br /> The funny thing about this is when I open the cyberduck server everything I uploaded is there, but not online. It works, but it’s dog-ugly (I’m on a Mac by choice, so appearance is really important to me).</p> <p>However, I recently purchased YummyFTP. Awesome! I love it. It feels like a Mac product and does the job really well.</p> <p>I agree on the comments against CyberDuck. Unreliable & buggy. Constant crashes and failed uploads were the norm, not the exception.</p> <p>I also used Flow for a while. I don’t know why I stopped using it because I also really liked it, but I thought it had been discontinued. It’s kind of a nightmare when working in teams. If you leave it running on your system, and someone else on the team changes a file in the server, when you download it you quite often get the version of the file *before* the changes your teammate made. Sometimes even “Refresh” doesn’t help, and you have to completely quit the program and relaunch it just to get the changed file. Gets really aggravating. It’s a combination of SFTP and SSH client and worked really well for me. I never used the X-Windows part of it so can’t comment on that. But it was really useful. How did you come to that conclusion? I’m working with transmit since years, updated recently to a newer version – but had never see anything related to adware. Are you sure you are using legal sources for downloading and then testing the apps? Same with filezilla – using it for years now, updated countless times but didn’t ever see anything related to adware.
