If your brother should sin, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-4.htm#aramaic"><b>4</b></a></span>And if he should offend you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn to you and say, I repent; forgive him.<p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-5.htm#aramaic"><b>5</b></a></span>And the apostles said to our Lord, Increase our faith. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-6.htm#aramaic"><b>6</b></a></span>He said to them, If you have faith, even as a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, Be uprooted and planted in the sea; it would obey you.<p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-7.htm#aramaic"><b>7</b></a></span>Now which of you has a servant who ploughs or feeds sheep, and if he should come from the field, would say to him, Enter in and sit down? <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-8.htm#aramaic"><b>8</b></a></span>But he will rather say to him, Prepare something that I may have my supper, and gird yourself and serve me until I eat and drink; and then you also can eat and drink. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-9.htm#aramaic"><b>9</b></a></span>Why, will that servant receive praise, because he did what he was commanded to do? I do not think so. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-10.htm#aramaic"><b>10</b></a></span>Even you also, when you have done all the things which are commanded you, say, We are idle servants; we have only done what was our duty to do.<p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-11.htm#aramaic"><b>11</b></a></span>And it came to pass, while Jesus was going to Jerusalem, he passed through Samaritan territory which is towards Galilee. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-12.htm#aramaic"><b>12</b></a></span>And when he drew near to enter a village, he was met by ten lepers, and they stood afar off; <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-13.htm#aramaic"><b>13</b></a></span>And they lifted their voices saying, O Jesus, our Master, have mercy on us. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-14.htm#aramaic"><b>14</b></a></span>And when he saw them he said to them, Go, show yourselves to the priests; and while they were going, they were cleansed. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-15.htm#aramaic"><b>15</b></a></span>But one of them, when he saw that he was cleansed, turned back, and with a loud voice praised God. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-16.htm#aramaic"><b>16</b></a></span>And he fell on his face at the feet of Jesus, thanking him; and this one was a Samaritan. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-17.htm#aramaic"><b>17</b></a></span>Jesus answered and said, Were there not ten who were cleansed? where are the nine? <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-18.htm#aramaic"><b>18</b></a></span>Why did they separate themselves so as not to come and give praise to God, except this man who is of a strange people? <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-19.htm#aramaic"><b>19</b></a></span>And he said to him, Arise, go, your faith has healed you.<p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-20.htm#aramaic"><b>20</b></a></span>When some of the Pharisees asked Jesus, when the kingdom of God would come, he answered and said to them, The kingdom of God does not come by observation. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-21.htm#aramaic"><b>21</b></a></span>Neither will they say, Behold, it is here! or, behold, it is there! for behold, the kingdom of God is within you.<p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-22.htm#aramaic"><b>22</b></a></span>And he said to his disciples, The days will come when you will covet to see one of the days of the Son of man, and you will not see it. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-23.htm#aramaic"><b>23</b></a></span>And if they should say to you, Behold, he is here! and behold, he is there! do not go. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-24.htm#aramaic"><b>24</b></a></span>For just as the lightning flashes from the sky, and all under the sky is lightened, such will be the day of the Son of man. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-25.htm#aramaic"><b>25</b></a></span>But first he must suffer a great many things, and be rejected by this generation. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-26.htm#aramaic"><b>26</b></a></span>Just as it happened in the days of Noah, such will it be in the days of the Son of man. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-27.htm#aramaic"><b>27</b></a></span>For they were eating and drinking, and marrying women, and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed every man. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-28.htm#aramaic"><b>28</b></a></span>And again, just as it happened in the days of Lot; they were eating and drinking, and buying and selling, and planting and building; <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-29.htm#aramaic"><b>29</b></a></span>But in the day when Lot went out of Sodom, the Lord sent down a rain of fire and sulphur from heaven, and destroyed them all. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-30.htm#aramaic"><b>30</b></a></span>Such will it be in the day when the Son of man appears. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-31.htm#aramaic"><b>31</b></a></span>In that day, he who is on the roof and his clothes in the house, will not come down to take them; and he who is in the field will not return back. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-32.htm#aramaic"><b>32</b></a></span>Just remember Lot&#8217;s wife. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-33.htm#aramaic"><b>33</b></a></span>He who desires to save his life shall lose it; and he who loses his life shall save it. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-34.htm#aramaic"><b>34</b></a></span>I say to you that in that very night two will be in one bed; one will be taken away, and the other left. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-35.htm#aramaic"><b>35</b></a></span>And two women will be grinding together; one will be taken away, and the other left. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-35.htm#aramaic"><b>36</b></a></span>Two will be in the field; one will be taken, and the other left. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/luke/17-35.htm#aramaic"><b>37</b></a></span>They answered and said to him, Our Lord, to what place?
