peer-reviewed and Scopus-indexed. In addition of ensuring high quality contributions, we will hand out best paper awards for young researchers and well-established scientists. And a novelty at IOMAC: We will organize a 3-minute PhD Pitch contest, with an award for the best pitch!</p> <p>All awards are sponsored by <a href="https://dewesoft.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dewesoft</a>.</p> <h2 id="1">1. Best Paper Award (500€)</h2> <p>This award will be granted to the author(s) presenting a paper with the most significant impact on the OMA community. A significant impact can be achieved through a novel scientific method or a remarkable case study with high relevance to practitioners.</p> <p><strong>Nomination</strong></p> <ul><li>No action is required. Every paper is considered by default.</li></ul> <p><strong>Eligibility</strong></p> <ul><li>Oral presentation by one of the authors</li></ul> <p><strong>Judging criteria</strong></p> <ul><li>Scientific novelty </li><li>Relevance for practitioners</li><li>Clarity of the paper and formatting</li></ul> <h2 id="2">2. Best Paper Award for Young Researchers (500€)</h2> <p>This award will be granted to the best paper with a young researcher as the main author. A young researcher is defined as a Ph.D. Candidate or a graduate who has received their Ph.D. in the year 2022 or later (don’t forget to tick the box in the registration form!). The young researcher must present the paper at the conference. The judging criteria are identical to the ones of the Best Paper Award (see above).</p> <h2 id="3">3. Best PhD Pitch Award (500€)</h2> <p>The 3-Minute Pitch is a novelty at IOMAC, and the winner receives an award! Within this contest, Ph.D. candidates have the opportunity to summarize their research idea or project within a three-minute presentation with a single static slide.</p>
