Confirmation of these details by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is still pending.</p><p>The Crime Scene Search team arrived Wednesday afternoon to survey the area and collect concrete evidence. In the middle of the day, as Jameisha was ascending to her apartment through a stairwell, a man reportedly accosted her and shot her to death, snatching her cell phone before making his escape from the premises.</p><p>Emergency responders arrived on the scene, where Jameisha was declared dead.</p><p>Maddox is facing charges of murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
