#4a4a4a; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"><span lang="EN-SG">TEC encourages any interest group in any region to initiate a TEC chapter, provided there is a minimum of 12 active TEC members volunteering to devote their time to the chapter鈥檚 activities and have interest in the TEC field of interest.</span></p> <p style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">Petitions for IEEE Society and Technical Council Chapters and Joint Chapters can be submitted online after the proposed Chapter formation has been agreed to by the Section Chair.
