Pierce markets. But the one that draws the fine is related to classic hits WOLL, Hobe Sound (105.5), and Clear Channel’s role in operating it while it was still technically owned by the Aloha Station Trust. Among the evidence brought by Vero Beach Broadcasting: rate cards that combined CC’s WSYR-FM and WCZR with WOLL. radio industry is mourning the loss of veteran progammer Dene Hallam, who died at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta Nov. 20 at age 56.</p> <p>Hallam had been programming the Moby In The Morning Network for the past two and a half years. In his lengthy career, he has programmed such stations as KKBQ (93Q) Houston, KYCY San Francisco, WWWW (W4) Detroit, KCMO-FM Kansas City, WDAF Kansas City and WKHX/WYAY Atlanta. He started his career on the pop side, and was proud of being one of the few programmers to have won Billboard Radio Awards for PD of the year in two different formats.</p><p></p> <p>Hallam is the father of three daughters, Elizabeth, Samantha and Hayleigh. The oldest two, who are twins, are high school seniors.
