Since they facilitate communication of very sensitive health data, information leakage in such networks can put human life at risk, and hence security inside BANs is a critical issue. Safe distribution and periodic refreshment of cryptographic keys are needed to ensure the highest level of security. In this paper, we focus on the key distribution techniques and how they are categorized for BAN. The state-of-art pre-shared key distribution algorithms are surveyed. Possible attacks on algorithms are demonstrated with examples. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=attacks" title="attacks">attacks</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=body%20area%20network" title=" body area network"> body area network</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=key%20distribution" title=" key distribution"> key distribution</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=key%20refreshment" title=" key refreshment"> key refreshment</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=pre-shared%20keys" title=" pre-shared keys"> pre-shared keys</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/49001/pre-shared-key-distribution-algorithms-attacks-for-body-area-networks-a-survey" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/49001.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">362</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">5</span> Development of a Scale for Evaluating the Efficacy of Vacationing</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ju%20Yeon%20Lee">Ju Yeon Lee</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Seol%20Ah%20Oh"> Seol Ah Oh</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hong%20il%20Kim"> Hong il Kim</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hae%20Yong%20Do"> Hae Yong Do</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sung%20Won%20Choi"> Sung Won Choi</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The purpose of this study was to develop a Well-being and Moments Scale (WAMS) for evaluating the efficacy of ‘vacationing’ as a form of mental health recuperation. ‘Vacationing’ is defined as a going outside one’s usual environment to seek refreshment and relief from one’s daily life. To develop WAMS, we followed recommended procedures for scale development, including reviewing related studies, conducting focus group interviews to elucidate the need for this assessment area, and modifying items based on expert opinion. Through this process, we developed the WAMS. The psychometric properties of the WAMS were then tested in two separate samples. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was conducted using 1.41 participants (mean age = 30.45 years; range: 20-50 years) to identify the underlying 3-factor structure of 'Positive Emotions', 'Life Satisfaction' and 'Self-Confidence.' The 26 items retained based on the EFA procedures were associated with excellent reliability (i.e., α = 0.93). Confirmatory factor analysis was then conducted using 200 different participants (mean age = 29.51 years; range: 20-50 years) and revealed good model fit for our hypothesized 3-factor model. Convergent validity tests also revealed correlations with other scales in the expected direction and range. Study limitations as well as the importance and utility of WMAS are also discussed. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=vacationing" title="vacationing">vacationing</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=positive%20affect" title=" positive affect"> positive affect</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=life%20satisfaction" title=" life satisfaction"> life satisfaction</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=self-confidence" title=" self-confidence"> self-confidence</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=WAMS" title=" WAMS"> WAMS</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/38591/development-of-a-scale-for-evaluating-the-efficacy-of-vacationing" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/38591.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">339</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4</span> Strategies and Difficulties to Integrate Renewable Energy into Recreational Open Spaces</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=A.%20Tereci">A. Those places contribute to the quality of city life by providing relaxation point for citizens and maintaining the environmental equilibrium. The elements which constitute the recreational areas also promote long-term environmental and social sustainability of cities. Preservation and creation of the recreation open spaces are important for water and air quality, natural habitat and also social communication. On this point, it is also a good area for promoting the renewable energy sources through comprehension of the sustainable development which is possible only with using nature and technic together. Energy production is mainly technical issue, and architectural design of these elements to the site always ignores or avoid. The main problems for integration of renewable energy sources are the system suitability, security, durability, and resiliency. In this paper, one of the city recreational open spaces in Konya, Turkey was evaluated for integration of possible renewable energy sources. It shows that the solar energy potential is high and PV integration is the best option. On the other hand wind, energy power and area is not suitable for wind turbine, so wind belts were decided to integrate on the design. According to recreational activities, the chosen elements was designed for site application, and their performance was calculated. According to possible installation on the furniture, there is 50 MWh/a electricity production capacity. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=energy" title="energy">energy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=integrated%20design" title=" integrated design"> integrated design</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=recreational%20space" title=" recreational space"> recreational space</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=renewables" title=" renewables"> renewables</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/86337/strategies-and-difficulties-to-integrate-renewable-energy-into-recreational-open-spaces" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/86337.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">156</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3</span> The Impact of Biodiversity and Urban Ecosystem Services in Real Estate</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Carmen%20Cantuarias-Villessuzanne">Carmen Cantuarias-Villessuzanne</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jeffrey%20Blain"> Jeffrey Blain</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Radmila%20Pineau"> Radmila Pineau</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Our research project aims at analyzing the sensitiveness of French households to urban biodiversity and urban ecosystem services (UES). Opinion surveys show that the French population is sensitive to biodiversity and ecosystem services loss, but the value given to these issues within urban fabric and real estate market lacks evidence. Using GIS data and economic evaluation, by hedonic price methods, weassess the isolated contribution of the explanatory variables of biodiversityand UES on the price of residential real estate. We analyze the variation of the valuefor three urban ecosystem services - flood control, proximity to green spaces, and refreshment - on the price of real estate whena property changes ownership. Our modeling and mapping focus on the price at theIRIS scale (statistical information unit) from 2014 to 2019. The main variables are internal characteristics of housing (area, kind of housing, heating), external characteristics(accessibility and infrastructure, economic, social, and physical environmentsuch as air pollution, noise), and biodiversity indicators and urban ecosystemservices for the Ile-de-France region. Moreover, we compare environmental values on the enhancement of greenspaces and their impact on residential choices. These studies are very useful for real estate developers because they enable them to promote green spaces, and municipalities to become more attractive. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=urban%20ecosystem%20services" title="urban ecosystem services">urban ecosystem services</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sustainable%20real%20estate" title=" sustainable real estate"> sustainable real estate</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=urban%20biodiversity%20perception" title=" urban biodiversity perception"> urban biodiversity perception</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hedonic%20price" title=" hedonic price"> hedonic price</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=environmental%20values" title=" environmental values"> environmental values</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/147354/the-impact-of-biodiversity-and-urban-ecosystem-services-in-real-estate" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/147354.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">132</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">2</span> Assessment of Availability and Factors Associated with Improved Sanitation Facilities in Urban Kebeles of Dire Dawa City, Eastern Ethiopia in 2022</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Meki%20%20Detamo">Meki Detamo</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed"> Ahmed</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Access to improved sanitation facilities is crucial for promoting community sanitation worldwide. In Ethiopia, however, sanitation remains a major development challenge despite growing attention and efforts by governments and donors. This study aimed to assess the availability of improved sanitation facilities and associated factors in urban kebeles of Dire Dawa City, Eastern Ethiopia, in 2022. A community-based cross-sectional study was conducted from March 6 to 30, 2022, using a multi-stage sampling technique to select 508 households. Data was collected through structured and pre-tested questionnaires using face-to-face interviews and observations and analyzed using SPSS Version 23. The availability of improved sanitation facilities was found to be remarkably high at 98.2% (95% CI: 97.0, 99.2), with 60.8% of households having a handwashing facility in or around the latrine, 86.0% using soap and water, and 89.0% using an improved water source for drinking. Logistic regression analysis revealed that households with a family size of less than four, those who owned their own house, and those who had self-initiated latrine construction were significantly associated with the availability of improved sanitation facilities. The study recommends the implementation of continuous refreshment training to emphasize the benefits of improved sanitation facilities in the urban community and family planning. This study provides valuable insights into the high availability of improved sanitation facilities in urban areas of Ethiopia and can inform future efforts to improve community sanitation. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sanitation%20facilities" title="sanitation facilities">sanitation facilities</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=availability" title=" availability"> availability</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=improved" title=" improved"> improved</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Dire%20Dawa" title=" Dire Dawa"> Dire Dawa</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ethiopia" title=" Ethiopia"> Ethiopia</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/169762/assessment-of-availability-and-factors-associated-with-improved-sanitation-facilities-in-urban-kebeles-of-dire-dawa-city-eastern-ethiopia-in-2022" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/169762.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">77</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1</span> Assessment of Nurse&#039;s Knowledge Toward Infection Control for Wound Care in Governmental Hospital at Amran City-Yemen</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fares%20Mahdi">Fares Mahdi</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Background: Infection control is an important concern for all health care professionals, especially nurses.
