Trata-se de um momento no qual ocorreu o aumento da demanda por livros escolares de história e que resultou na constituição de uma concorrência entre os autores. Por meio do cotejo entre os livros escolares e as resenhas e notícias publicadas na imprensa brasileira, tornou-se possível entender os meandros que avalizaram a produção historiográfica da Neste artigo temos como escopo a análise da recepção crítica dos livros escolares de História do Brasil escritos pela professora Isabel Gondim no período entre 1873 e 1913. Trata-se de um momento no qual ocorreu o aumento da demanda por livros escolares de história e que resultou na constituição de uma concorrência entre os autores. Partindo das reflexões historiográficas de Guimarães (1988) e Moreira (2010), compreende-se que as querelas do IHGB, sob os auspícios do II Reinado, balizavam, sobremaneira, três tópicos: 1) o lugar do indígena no território nacional; 2) a legitimação do Império e do legado português; e 3) a miscigenação. Sob o conceito de "interdiscursividade", sistematizado por Maingueneau (2014), portanto, aqui se apresentam quocientes de um estudo interdiscursivo, cuja questão norteadora é a influência da historiografia em um romance indigenista. Dentre eles, destacamos: “Gymnastica domestica, medica e hygienica” (1855), de Daniel Gottlob Moritz Schreber; “Manual theorico e pratico de gymnastica escolar, elementar e superior” (1888), de Pedro Manoel Borges; “Gymnastica nas aulas” (1895) de Manoel Baragiola; “Manual de gymnastica escolar” (1896), de M. Caldas e E. de Carvalho; “Compendio Pratico de Gymnastica” (1897), de Antonio Martiniano Ferreira; "Homem Forte" (1905), de Domingos Nascimento e “Tratado Pratico de Gymnastica Sueca” (1908), de Ludvig Gideon Kumlien. Fundamentados principalmente nas teorias sobre a história do currículo de Nereide Saviani (2010) e Ivor Goodson (2012), e sobre a história dos materiais didáticos de Alain Chopin (2002), utilizamos um conceito de currículo escrito que considera as elaborações curriculares em sua rica totalidade de relações e numerosas determinações do real. Com efeito, no estudo, ainda que nos limites das fontes consultadas, observamos que embora alguns dos manuais didáticos analisados possuírem características que atendem os critérios definidos, possibilitando identificá-los como manifestações do currículo escrito da Educação Física, faltam-nos elementos que nos permitam compreender melhor tanto a conjuntura, quanto as forças envolvidas em sua produção. Analisamos e discutimos a realidade do ensino de Historia, na Escola Estadual do município de Sandovalina - SP. A pesquisa foi bibliográfica e de campo com abordagem qualitativa, a técnica utilizado foi a entrevista. Sabemos que a escola é um ambiente de construção de aprendizagem, no qual o procedimento de ensino e aprendizagem deve propiciar ao educando a desenvolver seu pensamento, e nesse procedimento cabe ao professor se interrogar de que forma o educando irá compreender aquilo que o educador apreendeu na universidade. O corpus documental compreende discursos políticos emitidos na forma de falas parlamentares, pareceres do Conselho de Estado, artigos de jornal, panfletos, memórias, livros e representações municipais e provinciais. Os textos foram interpretados por meio não apenas da análise do discurso, mas também da história social e política, de forma que se verificou seu impacto sobre a intensidade do contrabando negreiro, as articulações partidárias e as relações sociais. O primeiro capítulo aborda os efeitos do convênio antitráfico anglo-brasileiro sobre as relações entre Executivo e Legislativo, bem como as expectativas correntes sobre o fim definitivo do comércio. Tendo sofrido forte ataque por parte da crítica oitocentista e novecentista, após sua "redescoberta" em 1834, devido a pequenos equívocos em datas, lugares, circunstâncias e personagens presentes em suas rubricas, e a um ordenamento pouco claro dos autos em seus cinco livros, as desconfianças resultaram em um processo de deslegitimação da obra como expressão de autor. O autor diz que a queda do Antigo Regime e a extinção do despotismo monárquico e das relações feudais de produção, apesar de conseguirem importantes resultados, não concluíram o processo de transformação política e social necessária. Para tanto, seria preciso uma emancipação política, humana, universal. Afirma que é preciso derrotar o poder da burguesia a fim de destruir os "grilhões" por ela impostos e é preciso libertar a classe operária por meio do fim da superioridade de uma classe sobre a outra. A revolução de Marx e Engels refere-se também a libertação das nações oprimidas, a qual possui um campo de opressão mais amplo. Nesse caso, a função do proletariado da nação que oprime é desenvolver o antagonismo em relação à classe dominante, promovendo a emancipação humana e nacional simultaneamente. No tocante à produção historiográfica da educação, a partir da década de 1980 é possível observar mudanças em relação ao reconhecimento desta como área de pesquisa e dos objetos de estudo como, de fato, elementos que contribuem para a produção de conhecimento no campo da História. Segundo Antonio Nóvoa, "a história da educação tem sido considerada como uma 'disciplina menor' tanto por uns como por outros: uns consideram-na um prolongamento, algo marginal da história; outros não lhe concedem o espaço de intervenção pedagógica que lhe pertence" (1992: 216). Nesse sentido este artigo tem a pretensão de contribuir para vislumbrar uma das possibilidades de pesquisa em História da Educação, a partir da seleção de fontes documentais relativas à imprensa periódica educacional, em especial revistas de ensino. Neste levantamento encontramos um conjunto de 08 cartas, reunidas pela Agência de Recife do SNI, escritas pelo Padre Joseph Comblin, datadas de 1976 e redigidas em Bruxelas (Bélgica), para vários amigos e amigas da Arquidiocese de Olinda e Recife.
