class="submission_checklist"> <h2> Submission Preparation Checklist </h2> As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines. <ul> <li> <span class="fa fa-check" aria-hidden="true"></span> The submission has not been previously published, nor it has been submitted to another journal. </li> <li> <span class="fa fa-check" aria-hidden="true"></span> The submission file must be a PDF from a source LaTeX file. </li> <li> <span class="fa fa-check" aria-hidden="true"></span> The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the <a href="http://polipapers.upv.es/index.php/agt/about/submissions#authorGuidelines" target="_blank">Author Guidelines</a>. </li> <li> <span class="fa fa-check" aria-hidden="true"></span> The author/s guarantee(s) the authorship of the documents presented, as well as any text or image. If the work has significant contributions from more than one author, all should appear as co-authors. </li> <li> <span class="fa fa-check" aria-hidden="true"></span> The Author/s guarantee(s) that the rights to the images presented in the work have been secured, and the right to cite has been properly used, thus complying in full with Intellectual Property Law. </li> <li> <span class="fa fa-check" aria-hidden="true"></span> The sender author warrants that any person named as co-author of the contribution is aware of the submission and has agreed to be so named. </li> </ul> </div> <div class="author_guidelines" id="authorGuidelines"> <h2> Author Guidelines </h2> <p>Authors are asked to submit manuscripts prepared in some flavour of LaTeX. The journal <strong>Applied General Topology</strong> does not have either article submission charges or article processing charges (APCs).</p> <p>Due to publishing constraints, <strong>only two submissions per author per year will be considered</strong>.</p> <p>Papers dealing with generalizations or modifications of topological spaces and their basic properties, mappings between (generalized) topological spaces, or separation axioms, will not be considered.<br /><br />Since Applied General Topology is a generalist journal we will not consider for publication very specialized papers which could not be of interest for a wide audience.</p> <p>The manuscript should be written in good English and should take into account the following instructions.</p> <p><strong>Essential title page information</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Title. </strong>It should be concise and informative avoiding abbreviations and formulae where possible.</li> <li><strong>Author names and affiliations.</strong> The full postal address and electronic e-mail of each author must be provided.</li> <li><strong>Abstract.</strong> The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. An abstract is often presented separately from the article, so it must be able to stand alone. For this reason, References should be avoided. Also, non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if essential they must be defined at their first mention in the abstract itself.</li> <li><strong>Keywords.</strong> Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of 6 keywords.These keywords will be used for indexing purposes.</li> <li><strong>Mathematics Subject Classification.</strong> <span data-preserver-spaces="true">Please provide classification codes according to the standard AMS codes. A full list and additional information can be found at </span><a title="Mathematical Subject Classification" href="http://www.ams.org/msc/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">http://www.ams.org/msc/</a>. <span data-preserver-spaces="true">At least one code beginning with <strong>54 - General Topology, </strong>closely related to the content of the submitted article is required.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Figures</strong></p> <p>Graphics and figures files must also be provided after acceptance of the manuscripts. The graphics prepared electronically should be submitted in Encapsulated PostScript (EPS).</p> <p><strong>References</strong></p> <p>Bibliographical references should be listed alphabetically at the end of the paper. In the text, the references must be indicated by number(s) in square brackets in line with the text</p> <p>Please, ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list and vice versa. The AGT style file package (including detailed instructions for LaTeX preparation) can be downloaded from this <a title="AGT files" href="https://polipapers.upv.es/public/journals/23/AGT.rar" target="_blank" rel="noopener">link</a>. This package contains three files: AGT.cls, template.tex and agtlogo.eps. All files must be placed in the same computer folder. Authors are asked to open the file template.tex in a LaTeX editor and fill in the file with the contents of their paper.</p> <p><strong>Source Files</strong></p> <p>Authors will be asked to upload the LaTeX source file of their manuscript written using AGT document class by means of the Online Submission System of the journal (<a href="https://polipapers.upv.es/index.php/AGT/login">http://polipapers.upv.es/index.php/AGT/login</a>).</p> <p><strong>Proofs</strong> <br /><br />One set of page proofs (as PDF files) will be sent by e-mail to authors. Please use this proof only for checking the typesetting, editing, completeness and correctness of the text, tables and figures. Significant changes to the article as accepted for publication will only be considered at this stage with permission from the Editor. Authors will be asked to make their corrections within 72 hours.</p> <p>Authors can annotate their corrections directly in the PDF file; to do this you will need to download Adobe Reader version 7 (or higher) available free from <a href="http://get.adobe.com/reader">http://get.adobe.com/reader</a>.</p> <p>If you do not wish to use the PDF annotations function, you may list them in a PDF file and send us them by our Online system. Therefore, it is an ideal medium for citing a document, particularly 'Articles in press' because they have not yet received their full bibliographic information.</p> </div> <div class="section_policy"> <h2>Special Issue Conference ICOMMSS'23</h2> <p>We are happy to announce that there will be a special issue of Applied General Topology for the "<em><strong>2nd International e-conference on Mathematical and Statistical Sciences: a Selcuk meeting</strong></em>", 5-7 June 2023.</p> <p><a href="https://icomss23.selcuk.edu.tr/">ICOMSS'23 – International E-Conference on Mathematical and Statistical Sciences: A Selcuk Meeting</a> </p> <p>Participants at this conference are welcome to submit a contribution to this special issue which will maintain the high-quality standards of the journal as well as its usual editorial policy. </p> <p><strong>Submission will be open from June 8 until December 8, 2023</strong>.</p> <p>Taking into account that a book will be published with the proceedings of the conference, we will consider two types of articles for possible publication in this issue:</p> <p>1.
