The women should also be encouraged to move forward by winning the social, familial, religious and surrounding impediments. We hope that Bangladesh would be able to build up a country on the basis of equal rights and justice between men and women. According to many scholars, if the efforts of women development and politico-economic empowerment of women continue to prevail, Bangladesh will be able to certainly overcome all of the impediments and go many steps ahead. The Bangladesh government, relevant organs, civil society and NGOs including all other organizations and institutions should recognize women’s dignity and status and provide them their due rights. In the context of globalization and international relations, Bangladesh would be more progressive and sustainable if women are properly paid their wages and other dues. We have carried out this study based on observation, focus group discussions, and exchanges of views on the conditions of female workers in the garment industries of Bangladesh. Besides, secondary data have been used in this study. After analyzing the women’s condition in the garment industries, we have provided some strategies in improving the women’s rights and dignity with due salary.</p><div participation in labour force and education as well as gender earnings differentials at the macro level. The study finds evidence of growing commercialisation of women’s work in Bangladesh. Although the bulk of the female labour force is engaged in self-employment activities in the rural area or in low-skilled textile and readymade garment industries in the urban area, women’s participation in high-skill and entrepreneurial jobs as well as various decision-making bodies is also on the rise. While the gender wage differentials have been considerably reduced in many industries, in general women tend to be paid less than men. There have been remarkable improvements in women’s educational attainments compared to men. Further, female access to education is found to be highly correlated with overall female labour force participation, and relative to male participation. The paper sheds light on the demand-side factors, mainly firm-level characteristics, which also influence this decision. The working conditions and the working lives of these female workers are hardly up to the standard. The working lives of these female workers are substantially disturbed by the unfavorable working conditions that lead to job dissatisfaction, job insecurity, and low productivity of the workers. These are due to not maintaining government compliances by these readymade garment (RMG) companies. Therefore, a serious concern has been raised by the national and international community regarding the working conditions and the working lives of these female workers of Bangladesh. Therefore, this paper aims at identifying the working conditions and the working lives of female readymade garment workers of Bangladesh. For conducting this study, both primary and secondary data were collected. Primary data were collected by using a structured questionnaire. A total of 267 female workers were interviewed for this study. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. Descriptive statistics were used to describe the present working conditions of the female workers and inferential statistical were used to identify the relationships between the overall working conditions and the working lives of the female workers. Results show that the female readymade garment workers of Bangladesh work under the suppressive working environment. Female workers are always exploited by their managers and supervisors due to gender difference and submissiveness. Managers also misbehave with them by capitalizing their illiteracy and submissiveness. Female workers are often disturbed by the male colleagues too at work place and outside the factory. They do not have freedom at work and have no promotion at work. As economic globalization has been accelerated very fast especially after 1990s, the world started to be more interconnected and dependency grew as well.Because of the global interconnectedness the world economy became globalized. The impact of economic globalization can be observed in various sectors. Among them gender dimension is very significant. Globalization at the same time both initiated development and challenges to the women as well. Gender segregation in economy has always been one of the areas for the researchers and academicians. So, how economic globalization has relation to gender segregation is the research topic of this paper. For the study purpose Bangladeshi garment workers(women)working in Dhaka, the capital of the country have chosen. Thus, the first part of the article mainly examines the theoretical perspectives of economic globalisation on occupational gender segregation and income inequality of women's work. After that, it will also argue a systematic linkage between the global expansion of production, free trade, and finance involved in the gendered division of labour and income inequality. For the study purpose authors have followed qualitative methodology based on primary and secondary data analysis. As primary Data interview of 50 garment workers are taken.
