The time has arrived and the day of trouble has come near <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-8.htm#aramaic"><b>8</b></a></span>Therefore, from close by I shall pour out my wrath upon you, and I shall pour my anger upon you and I shall judge you according to your ways, and I shall put upon you all your abominations <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-9.htm#aramaic"><b>9</b></a></span>And my eyes shall not have pity and I shall not have mercy, but according to your ways I shall pay you, and your abominations will be within you, and you shall know that I AM LORD JEHOVAH who strikes you<p> <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-10.htm#aramaic"><b>10</b></a></span>Behold, the day has come! The dawn has gone forth and the rod has blossomed and disgrace has borne fruit! <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-11.htm#aramaic"><b>11</b></a></span>And evil rose up on the staff of The Evil One, not from them and not from their distresses and not from their actions, and I shall give no rest among them <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-12.htm#aramaic"><b>12</b></a></span>The time has arrived and the day has come. He who buys will not rejoice, and you will not sorrow for him who sells, because wrath is upon all their property <A name="14"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-13.htm#aramaic"><b>13</b></a></span>And the buyer did not return to the seller, and there is no more life in their lives, because the vision shall not return on any of their property, and a man in his evil shall not hold fast to his life<p> <A name="15"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-14.htm#aramaic"><b>14</b></a></span>They sounded on the trumpet and prepared everything, and there is none going to battle, because my rage is on all their property <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-15.htm#aramaic"><b>15</b></a></span>The sword is in the streets and plague and famine is in the houses. That which is in the field shall die by the sword, and that famine and plague shall consume him who is in the town <A name="17"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-16.htm#aramaic"><b>16</b></a></span>And those who escape of them shall escape into the mountains, as doves in the crags. They all will die, each man, for his sins <A name="18"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-17.htm#aramaic"><b>17</b></a></span>All hands shall be paralyzed and all knees shall be water <A name="19"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-18.htm#aramaic"><b>18</b></a></span>And they shall put on sackcloth and dizziness shall cover them. Shame shall be on all their faces and tearing out hair on all their heads <A name="20"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-19.htm#aramaic"><b>19</b></a></span>They shall throw their silver into the streets and their gold. Their silver shall be despised and their gold cannot save them in the day of the anger of LORD JEHOVAH. Their souls will not be satisfied and they shall not fill their bellies. This suffering is the reward of their evils<p> <A name="21"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-20.htm#aramaic"><b>20</b></a></span>And the glory of their ornaments that they made in their pride for the images of their abominations and of their idols, therefore I have made despised <A name="22"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-21.htm#aramaic"><b>21</b></a></span>And I shall give it into the hand of foreigners for prey and to the sinners of the land for the captivity, and they shall defile it <A name="23"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-22.htm#aramaic"><b>22</b></a></span>And I shall turn my face from them and they shall defile my watchtowers, and they shall enter into the gate and they shall defile it<p> <A name="24"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-23.htm#aramaic"><b>23</b></a></span>And they shall pass by with bricks, because the land is filled with the judgment of blood, and the city is filled with evil <A name="25"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-24.htm#aramaic"><b>24</b></a></span>And I shall bring Shepherds of the Gentiles, and they shall possess their households, and I shall overturn the magnificence of the mighty, and they shall possess their sanctuary <A name="26"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-25.htm#aramaic"><b>25</b></a></span>Wrath is coming and they shall seek peace, and it shall not be found <A name="27"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-26.htm#aramaic"><b>26</b></a></span>Woe upon woe will come, and report upon report shall be heard, and they shall seek the vision of the Prophets, and the Law will be destroyed from the Priests, and counsel from the Elders <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/ezekiel/7-27.htm#aramaic"><b>27</b></a></span>The King shall sit in mourning and the Prince will wear desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be paralyzed.
