Osmanlı klasik iktisadi sisteminin çözüldüğü, kapitalist sisteme entegre olduğu bir süreci, Ahmet Midhat Efendi ve girişimcilik kavramı üzerinden betimlemektir. Girişimci; kâr sağlamak amacıyla emek, sermaye ve doğal kaynakları bir araya getirerek bir işletme kuran, bu işletmeyi yöneten ve yaptığı işin riskini üstlenen kişidir. İktisadi girişimcilik ‚geleneksel girişimcilik‛ ve ‚kapitalist girişimcilik‛ olmak üzere ikiye ayrılmaktadır. Kapitalist girişimci, sermayenin sınırsız birikimini geçerli tek yasa kabul eden kişidir. Modern dünya, kapitalist girişimcinin öncülüğünde şekillenirken Osmanlı, bu dönüşüme ayak uyduramamış ve 1938 Baltalimanı Antlaşması&#39;yla birlikte kapitalist sisteme eklemlenmiştir. Baltalimanı Antlaşmasından sonra Osmanlı iktisadi yapısı hem geleneksel hem de kapitalist bir karakter sergilediği gibi bu dönemin bir aydını ve girişimcisi olan Ahmet Midhat Efendi&#39;de de bu düalist karakteri görmek mümkündür. Ahmet Midhat Efendi; pek çok gazete ve dergi çıkararak yayıncılık girişimlerinde bulunmuş, aynı zamanda matbaacılık yapmıştır. Bugün de hâlâ tüketiciye sunulmakta olan Sırmakeş suyunun isim babası ve bu suyu piyasaya sunan ilk kişidir. Ayrıca Beykoz&#39;da kurduğu modern çiftlik işletmesi de Osmanlı&#39;da ilk kuluçka makinesinin, modern arı kovanının kullanıldığı, pek çok aşının denendiği bir çiftliktir. This fact experienced today has offered equal causes for each civilization, without fovaring any of them. The cause in which all civilizations are affected concurrently and simultaneously without any connection with each other before or after was named as Covid-19 by scientists. The economic, social, and political struggle not to be wiped out is to remove the impact of the virüs as soon as possible. Will history face a new end in an environment where looking for who is responsible, continuing to fight in the front line, and resisting is uncertain at the moment and the most crucial move has been conceptualized as social distancing? An actual end, away from ideological myths. It is necessary to evaluate how the discourses and actions that underline the clash of civilizations and legitimize the strong and the weak will be shaped right before Covid-19, which brings chaos and death to every field without distinguishing between the strong and the weak. This study examines the predictions that reread Huntington&#39;s thesis of the clash of civilizations through the relationships that will be shaped after the Covid-19 outbreak. As a result of these predictions, it has been concluded that what remains after political changes is the essence of humanity and this essence must be shaped through the value that will be embellished with humanitarian values. In the study, the concepts of society, state and civilization are defined first. The primary sources that contain the views of the ninth century Turkish-Islamic thinker Farabi and the contemporary thinker Huntington on civilization and some secondary sources that interpret these views are handled by document analysis method. The virtuous city, state and civilization views in Farabi&#39;s &quot;El-Medînetü&#39;l-Fâdıla&quot; and &quot;Es-Siyâsetü&#39;l-Medeniyye&quot; were examined. In Farabi&#39;s theory of civilization, it is said that there may be virtuous cities and nations that aim at the same happiness belonging to different religions. Contemporary thinker Samuel Huntington predicts a conflict between civilizations in his article &quot;The Clash of Civilizations&quot;, contrary to Farabi. Huntington&#39;s theory, which makes a sharp distinction between the West and Islamic civilizations, and puts the Western civilization in a privileged position, is criticized for ignoring the dynamic and intertwined civilizations, and being incomplete and biased. As a result, Farabi&#39;s ability to present a multi-civilization perspective from those ages and his belief that a universal civilization can be established is very valuable. Karatani’ye göre kapitalizm, sermaye-ulus-devlet üçlüsüyle işleyen bir sistemdir; kapitalizmi anlamak ve ona karşı çıkmak için bu üçlüyü dikkate almamız gerekir. Bu çalışmada, sermayeye karşı girişilecek her eylemin devleti ve ulusu da karşısına alması gerektiğini belirten Karatani’nin kapitalizme ve ona karşı hareketlere dair görüşlerini inceleyeceğiz. Kapitalist ulus-devlet, oluşturduğu üçlü yapı sayesinde insanlığı geri dönülemez bir felakete sürüklediğinden bu felaketten çıkmak için Karatani’nin sunduğu imkânları ele alacağız. Siyasal ve sosyal düşüncede toplumsal formasyonların tarihi genellikle üretim kavramı etrafında düşünülür. Toplumsal formasyonların tarihini üretim kavramı yerine mübadele tarzları üzerinden düşünen Karatani’nin siyasal ve sosyal düşüncede farklı bir yerde durduğunu ileri süren bu çalışma, mübadele tarzları üzerinde duran Karatani perspektifinin sermaye birikim süreçlerine karşı çıkmaya çalışan toplumsal hareketler ve mücadele pratikleri açısından sonuçları olduğunu iddia eder. Bu iddia etrafında, bir yandan Karatani’nin sermaye-ulus-devleti aşmada ortaya koyduğu yaklaşımı sistemli ve eleştirel bir şekilde irdeleme fırsatı yakalar. According to Karatani, capitalism is a system that operates with the capital-nation-state triad; we need to consider this triad in order to understand and oppose capitalism. In this study, we will examine Karatani&#39;s views on capitalism and movements against it, who stated that every action to be taken against capital should also confront the state and the nation. Since the capitalist nation-state has dragged humanity into an irreversible disaster thanks to the tripartite structure it has created, we will consider the possibilities offered by Karatani to get out of this disaster. The history of social formations is generally considered around the concept of production in political and social thought. This study asserts that Karatani, who thinks the history of social formations through the modes of exchange instead of production concept, stands in a different place in political and social thought.
