class="field-item even"><h2>البرلمانات ومنع الإرهاب ومكافحته</h2> <p>تلعب البرلمانات دوراً حاسماً في منع الإرهاب ومكافحته ومعالجة الدوافع الأساسية لانتشار التطرف العنيف. فالبرلمانات تؤدي دوراً رئيسياً في سن القوانين ووضع السياسات وتخصيص الميزانية والإشراف على الإجراءات الحكومية وضمان اتباع نهج شامل للمجتمع برمته لمكافحة الإرهاب يمثِّل مصالح المجتمعات المحلية والعمل مع الفئات المستضعفة المعرضة لخطر التطرف. وهي من خلال رصد إجراءات الحكومات  تضمن تنفيذ  الالتزامات الدولية المتعلقة بالإرهاب ورصده والامتثال لتلك الالتزامات وعقد جلسات الاستماع والاستفسار البرلمانية وكذلك تنظيم الحملات العامة للفت انتباه المواطنين إلى القضايا المستجدة.</p> <p dir="rtl">ولجعل سبل التصدي للإرهاب والتطرف العنيف جزءاً من الوظائف البرلمانية، أقام مكتب الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الإرهاب شراكات مع العديد من المنظمات البرلمانية، من ضمنها <a href="http://www.ipu.org/">الاتحاد البرلماني الدولي</a>، والجمعية البرلمانية للبحر الأبيض المتوسط، والجمعية البرلمانية لمنظمة الأمن والتعاون في أوروبا، والجمعية البرلمانية المشتركة للدول الأعضاء في رابطة الدول المستقلة. ويهيِّئ المكتب لهذه المنظمات محفلا للتنسيق ويدعم بشكل جوهري عمل الفرق البرلمانية المعنية بمكافحة الإرهاب، مثل الفريق الاستشاري الرفيع المستوى لمكافحة الإرهاب والتطرف العنيف التابع للاتحاد البرلماني الدولي واللجنة البرلمانية الخاصة لمكافحة الإرهاب.</p> <h3><a href="http://www.un.org/counterterrorism/ar/engaging-parliamentarians/addressing-terrorism-and-parliaments">”دور البرلمانات في التصدي للإرهاب والتطرف العنيف المفضي إلى الإرهاب</a>“، الذي يحظى بتمويل سخي بواسطة التبرعات المقدَّمة إلى المكتب من دولة قطر، وإلى الاتحاد البرلماني الدولي من الإمارات العربية المتحدة وبنغلاديش وبينين والصين. وهو يدعم الإجراءات البرلمانية المتعلقة بمكافحة الإرهاب ومنع التطرف العنيف من خلال نهج شامل للمجتمع برمته. وينفِّذ المكتب هذا البرنامج بالشراكة مع الاتحاد البرلماني الدولي ومكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة وبالتعاون الوثيق مع المنظمات البرلمانية
