Then scroll to the bottom where you’ll see in red text ‘Something wrong? Get help’. \n\n__You might be covered by Section 75 if you’ve used your Flex card__\n\nWhen you buy something with your Monzo Flex card, you might also be covered by Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.\n\nThat’s as long as the goods or services you bought are between £100 and £30,000 and aren’t paid for through a third party or agent. (There’s more about this below.)\n\nSection 75 only applies to transactions made with your Monzo Flex card.\n\n__Under Section 75, both the credit provider and the retailer are responsible__\n\nUnder Section 75, the credit provider (that’s us in this case) and the retailer or supplier are jointly responsible if something goes wrong. \n\n__How Section 75 covers you__\n\nYou might be able to get a refund if the goods or services you’ve bought are:\n- faulty\n- not delivered \n- not fit for purpose, of satisfactory quality or as described.\n\n__Section 75 could also cover you if:__\n\n- the company you’ve bought from goes out of business before you get your goods or services \n- the description of the goods or services doesn’t represent what you actually received. \n\n__When can you claim__\n\nThere are a few things to bear in mind about Section 75.\n\n- The value of the goods or services must be between £100 and £30,000.\n- You must've purchased at least a part of the goods or services on your Flex card.\n- You’ll only be able to claim on purchases made for yourself (you can’t claim if you use your virtual card to pay for someone else’s purchase).\n- The company you pay for the goods or services must be the same who provides them (not a third party or agent).\n\nA good example of this is when you buy plane tickets. If you buy through a travel agent instead of an airline, then Section 75 might not apply if the flights are cancelled. This is because the payment you made was to a third party or agent and not to the supplier of the goods or services (the airline).\n\nAnother example is if you pay for something on a marketplace platform, like Amazon Marketplace. We’ll run a soft credit check to see if you’re eligible for a higher limit. If we increase your limit we’ll report your new credit limit amount to the credit reference agencies, this may have an impact on your credit score.\n\nIf you’re not eligible, we’ll have only run a soft search, so there’ll be no impact to your credit score. You’ll still be able to keep your existing limit and the same interest rate.\n\n__How often can I change my Flex credit limit?__\nYou can decrease your limit whenever you want to, but not below the amount you’re currently flexing. To increase your limit you’ll need to request a higher amount, this typically takes a few minutes to find out if you’re eligible for a higher limit through the app.\n\nYou can request a limit increase as often as you like, each time you’ll need to confirm your personal details and we'll make sure you can afford to borrow more from us before increasing your credit limit. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your bank and confirm the payment\n\nYour payment will be sent to a __virtual Monzo account set up in your name specifically for Open Banking Flex payments.__ We’ll sometimes refer to this virtual account as a routing account. This account acts as a secure, behind-the-scenes connection to your Flex account but you won’t be able to access the virtual account. While you won’t see the payment in your Monzo statements, it’ll show up in your Flex statements and on your main feed so you can track these payments easily.\n\nIf your bank isn’t on the list of supported banks, it’s because we haven’t connected with it yet. \n\n### Why can I only pay early via Easy Bank transfer?\n\nRight now, Easy Bank transfers for Flex payments are only available when you __pay early__, either towards your upcoming Flex payment or towards individual transactions. This means you can select to pay from another bank whenever you want to pay off your Flex early, but it doesn’t yet support recurring or scheduled payments.\n\nWe’re starting with pay early because it’s the simplest way to introduce Easy Bank Transfers for Flex. We’re monitoring how customers use this feature and may expand it to support recurring or scheduled payments in the future. Stay tuned!\n\n### Important: Please don’t attempt to make any manual payments to your virtual Monzo account \n\nTo keep your Flex payments seamless, please avoid making direct manual payments to the virtual account shown in your other banking app. This account is specifically designed for __Easy Bank transfers to pay your Flex early only.__ If you try to manually transfer money to the virtual account outside of the app, your payment will automatically be returned to you.\n\nAdditionally, if you initiate an Easy Bank transfer to pay your Flex early and it is still pending, please avoid making another manual payment through the Monzo current account.
