fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which, indeed, is idolatry; <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/colossians/3-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>on account of which things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience; <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/colossians/3-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>in which things ye also formerly walked, when ye were living in these things. <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/colossians/3-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>But now do ye also put away all <i>these</i>; anger, wrath, malice, reviling, shameful talk out of your mouth. <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/colossians/3-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>Lie not one to another, having put off the old man with his practices, <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/colossians/3-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>and having put on the new <i>man</i> who is being renewed unto full knowledge, according to <i>the</i> image of Him Who created him; <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/colossians/3-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span>where there is no Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondman, freeman; but Christ is all, and in all.<p> <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/colossians/3-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span>Put on, therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, tender affections of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, long-suffering; <A name="14"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/colossians/3-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span>(bearing with one another, and freely forgiving one another, if any one have a complaint against any; even as the Lord freely forgave you, so also <i>do</i> ye): <A name="15"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/colossians/3-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span>and over all these <i>put on</i> love, which is the uniting-bond of perfectness. <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/colossians/3-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span>And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, unto which also ye were called in one body;
