<header> <h1>Art Networks</h1> </header> <p>Following are state, regional and national arts networks that provide valuable resources for artists, arts managers, educators, arts advocates, community development professionals and others involved in the arts. </p> <h2>Statewide</h2> <p><strong><a href="http://www.alliedartsokc.com">Allied Arts</a><br> </strong>As Oklahoma's only United Arts Fund, Allied Arts provides critical resources and support to 26 leading arts organizations in central Oklahoma.</p> <p><strong><a href="https://www.artstulsa.org" title="Arts Alliance Tulsa">Arts Alliance Tulsa</a><br> </strong>Arts Alliance Tulsa is a United Arts Fund that strengthens and supports the arts for a greater Tulsa through fundraising, support services, audience development and responsible investment and allocations of resources. </p> <p><strong><a href="https://okaplus.org">Oklahoma A+ Schools Institute</a><br> </strong>The Oklahoma A+ Schools Institute at the聽University of Central Oklahoma聽works with schools to make learning more intuitive and fun. By integrating other academics with the arts, OKA+ creates an environment where every student can thrive.<strong><br> </strong> </p> <p><a href="http://www.oktheatre.org/"><strong>Oklahoma Community Theatre Association (OCTA)</strong></a><br> Supports community theatres and participants through programs and activities. Encourages high standards in community theatre production and management. </p> <p><strong><a href="http://www.oklahomansforthearts.org/">Oklahomans for the Arts (OFTA)</a><br> </strong>Oklahoma's first nonprofit arts advocacy organization, dedicated to increasing the support of the arts, culture, and arts education in Oklahoma. <strong><br> </strong> </p> <p><a href="http://www.okmuseums.org/"><strong>Oklahoma Museums Association (OMA) </strong></a><br> Supports Oklahoma museums through workshops, seminars, and other programs and services. Serves as a primary source of information for museums around the state.</p> <p><a href="Our_Programs/ONEAL.html"><strong>Oklahoma's New and Emerging Arts Leaders (ONEAL)</strong></a><br> A networking group that provides creative strategies for advancing the careers of young arts professionals and artists with less than five years experience. Efforts include statewide peer support and one-on-one mentorships with experienced arts professionals. </p> <p><a href="http://www.ovac-ok.org/"><strong>Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC)</strong></a><br> Supports visual artists living and working in Oklahoma. Promotes the visual arts through publications, educational programs and exhibitions. Encourages professional excellence through grants, seminars and a Virtual Gallery.</p> <h2>Regional/National</h2> <p><strong><a href="http://www.artsusa.org/">Americans for the Arts </a></strong><br> A national nonprofit organization that provides information and research about the arts, advocacy and policy tools, leadership development programs and a variety of other services and events. </p> <p><a href="http://www.maaa.org"><strong>Mid-America Arts Alliance</strong></a><br> Supports and stimulates cultural activity in communities throughout Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas. Programs include traveling exhibitions, performing arts touring, and professional and community development opportunities. </p> <p><strong><a href="http://www.nasaa-arts.org/">National Assembly of State Arts Agencies (NASAA)</a></strong><br> The membership organization that unites, represents, and serves the nation's state arts agencies. Research provided by NASAA empowers member agencies to more effectively serve the public through the arts.  The organization makes research and advocacy tools available through their website.</p> <p><strong><a href="http://www.nea.gov/">National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)</a></strong><br> An agency of the federal government whose mission is to make the arts accessible to all Americans, the NEA supports the arts through grants, programs and services to 56 states and U.S. territories. </p> <h2>Education</h2> <p><strong><a href="http://www.nationalguild.org/">National Guild for Community Arts Education</a></strong><br> Provides programs and services for individuals and organizations involved in community arts education. Supports the creation and development of community arts education organizations and programs by providing information resources, professional development and networking opportunities, advocacy, funding, and high-profile leadership.</p> <p><strong><a href="http://www.arteducators.org/">National Art Education Association</a></strong><br> The membership organization for visual art educators. Grant opportunities, advocacy tools, and published research is available through the association's website.</p> <p><strong><a href="http://oaea-ok.org/">Oklahoma Art Educators Association</a></strong><br> A professional organization whose members have access to professional development, an annual conference, opportunities for students, and advocacy and other resources.</p> <p><a href="http://www.okmea.org/"><strong>Oklahoma Music Educators Association</strong></a><strong></strong><br> Oklahoma Music Educators Association promotes and works to improve music education in Oklahoma schools, colleges, and universities, both public and private.</p> <p><strong><a href="http://sde.state.ok.us/">Oklahoma State Department of Education</a></strong><br> The state agency that oversees public education in Oklahoma. A source of information for Oklahoma PASS (Priority Academic Student Skills) standards and other resources.</p> </article>   <div id="sedondary"> <aside id="aside1"> <img src="p/oneal/oneallogo200.png" alt="ONEAL" width="215" height="150" class="left"> <p>ONEAL (Oklahoma's New and Emerging Arts Leaders) is a free, independent statewide network for arts leaders age 35 and under OR those that have less than five years of experience in arts administration or the business of arts.
