Les données d’usage sont essentielles pour évaluer les mutations considérables du lectorat des publications scientifiques à l’ère du libre accès. Philip M. Davies (2011) souligne ainsi que le « le libre accès bénéficie surtout à ceux qui se situent en dehors du cœur des communautés scientifiques » mais que « nous savons très peu de choses sur la manière dont les publications scientifiques sont transmises et reçues dans ces réseaux informels ».</p> <p>Financé par le programme ISTEX, le projet <strong>Usages <i>alpha</i></strong> consiste à définir une grille d’analyse par un dispositif méthodologique et un ensemble de modèles d’usages. Ses résultats seront exploités dans le cadre du projet “Appropriations du savoir ouvert” financé par la Fondation d’Aix-Marseille Université, A*Midex, dont OpenEdition est lauréat depuis octobre 2017.</p> <h3>Étapes du projet</h3> <h4>Usages <i>alpha</i></h4> <p>Financé par le programme PIA ISTEX, le projet Usages <i>alpha</i> consiste à définir une grille d’analyse par un dispositif méthodologique, un ensemble de modèles d’usages et la réalisation d’un prototype de détecteur de lecteur inattendu qui exploitent les logs de connexion des plateformes d’OpenEdition.
